Which accounts does the offer cover?
The published CFP offer covers Alpha Pro 6%, Alpha Pro 8%, Alpha One 10% and Alpha Swing. Pro pricing must also be matched to the chosen biweekly or on-demand payout package.
The rule comparison below includes Pro 10% and Alpha Direct because Alpha documents those programs separately. Coupon calculations are limited to the models covered by the published CFP offer. A code listed for an evaluation should not be assumed to cover Alpha Direct, paid upgrades or other charges.
Can I combine COMPARE50 and COMPARE?
Use one code per purchase. The 50% first-purchase and 30% later-purchase offers are separate calculations; adding them together does not produce an 80% discount.
What are Alpha Capital's account rules in 2026?
The main differences are evaluation stages, profit targets and the loss-limit method. The table compares the current documented programs. Accounts use simulated funds, and qualified traders can request performance fees after meeting the applicable conditions.
Sources: Pro 6%, Pro 8%/10%, Alpha One, Swing and Direct.
Alpha Three is a legacy program that is no longer sold to new customers. The current Alpha One purchase variant is 10%; documentation for older 6% and 12% accounts does not make those variants current purchase options. Check the selected program on the official product page.
How is Alpha Capital's daily drawdown calculated?
Alpha measures the daily floor from the balance, or the higher of balance and equity, at the broker's daily reset. The relevant reset is 00:00 GMT+3, equal to 02:30 IST.
For example, a One 10% account with $50,000 balance and $50,500 equity at reset has a $48,480 daily floor: $50,500 × 0.96. A Pro 8% account with the same figures uses the $50,000 balance, giving a $48,000 floor.
Breaches are assessed using current equity, so floating losses count. The daily floor and overall floor operate together. See the official daily risk calculation.
What is the difference between static and trailing drawdown?
A static floor stays anchored to the initial account balance. A trailing floor rises with the highest account balance until its lock point.
On a $50,000 Pro 8% account, the static overall floor is $46,000. It stays there after profits. On One 10%, the initial floor is $47,000, and the trailing allowance is a fixed $3,000.
Direct follows the same principle with a 5% allowance. On a $50,000 Direct account, the floor starts at $47,500 and locks at $50,000 after a $52,500 balance high-water mark.
Withdrawals reduce the buffer above the active floor. Recalculate that buffer before requesting a performance fee. Source: maximum total loss policy.
What is the maximum risk allowed on one asset?
On covered Qualified Analyst accounts, the per-asset open-loss limit is 3% for $5K–$25K sizes and 2% for $50K–$200K sizes. Direct has a 1% limit at every size.
This rule applies to qualified accounts purchased after 21 July 2026. Losing positions on one asset are added together; profitable positions do not offset them. Closing and reopening the same asset in the same direction within ten minutes can carry the earlier loss into the test. Reaching the threshold closes the account, even if other assets are profitable.
This limit is separate from daily and overall drawdown. Source: official Max Risk Rule.
What leverage and lot limits apply?
Pro provides up to 1:100 Forex leverage. One, Swing and Direct provide up to 1:30 on Forex. Other asset classes have lower limits.
The qualified-account lot cap is the combined open exposure across the account.
For example, two 12-lot positions total 24 lots and exceed a standard $50K Pro qualified cap of 20 lots. Available margin can restrict exposure further. Violations can remove performance fees or close the account.
Sources: the plan documents above and qualified-account lot limits.
Can I trade during news releases?
News trading is allowed during evaluations. Qualified Pro, One and Direct accounts restrict executions on affected instruments from five minutes before until five minutes after specified releases.
Pending orders, stop-loss orders and take-profit orders can count as executions. Holding a position opened outside the restricted window does not create an exemption for its closure inside the window.
The instrument map also matters: specified USD inflation, Federal Reserve and employment releases can affect all instruments, and gold has a broader event list. Check the official news-event and instrument table, rather than checking only the currency pair name.
Can I hold Alpha Capital trades over the weekend?
One and Swing allow weekend holding through evaluation and qualification. Pro allows it during evaluation but prohibits it after qualification. Direct prohibits weekend holding.
A qualified Pro weekend violation can remove the affected profits; the account remains subject to the resulting drawdown position. Overnight and weekend positions can also incur swaps. Source: weekend holding policy.
What is Alpha Capital's two-minute rule?
Average trade duration must exceed two minutes, the majority of trades must exceed two minutes, and the profit-duration test must also be met.
At least 50% of the relevant profit amount must come from trades held longer than two minutes. The reference is gross generated profit above the initial balance on qualified accounts, or targeted profit during evaluation. Short-trade profits earned while recovering from drawdown also count toward the short-duration test.
A passing average alone is insufficient. An evaluation violation can require a restart from Phase 1; a qualified-stage violation can remove profits and reset the account.

How do Alpha Capital payouts and consistency rules work?
Standard evaluation-based plans offer an 80% performance share. A 90% add-on is available on specified on-demand Pro and One packages; Direct includes 90%.
How do I calculate the 40% best-day requirement?
Divide the best day's net profit by total net profit. The result must be 0.40 or lower on the covered on-demand evaluation-based plans.
A $600 best day requires at least $1,500 total net profit for the consistency test: $600 ÷ 0.40. A $100K account must also meet its separate 2% minimum-profit requirement, so $1,500 alone would be insufficient.
Direct uses its own buffer and consistency conditions. A request schedule is separate from approval and payment delivery. For biweekly plans, token trades used only to manufacture the required trading days are prohibited.
Sources: on-demand requirements, biweekly requirements, performance share and Direct.
Are EAs, copy trading and scalping allowed?
Approved MT5 trade-management tools are permitted; fully autonomous trading EAs are prohibited. Copying between accounts you own requires the firm's authorization process.
EAs are unavailable on cTrader, DXtrade and TradeLocker under the current policy. Copy trading on or from those platforms is also unavailable. Read the EA policy, copy-trading policy and prohibited strategies.
What other account restrictions should I know?
The qualified allocation limit is $400,000 per household, with $300,000 per strategy, which Alpha defines by asset. Evaluation purchases do not remove those qualified-stage limits.
More than 30 consecutive days without genuine trading activity can deactivate an account; logging in alone does not count. Stop-loss and take-profit orders are not mandatory, although Alpha recommends them. Latency exploitation, arbitrage, group hedging, position spamming and account-management services are prohibited.
Sources: allocation limits, inactivity and stop-loss policy.
