AquaFunded News Profit Cap Ledger + Promo Code COMPARE
OCT 7
2026
Quick answer: For AquaFunded accounts covered by its post-27-April-2026 news policy, news-window profit is capped at 0.5% of starting balance per payout cycle. On $25K, that is $125. A larger displayed trading profit does not mean the entire news-related amount remains eligible after review.
Verified code: COMPARE. Discount: 25% off AquaFunded Forex/CFD purchase fees. Two Step Elite $25K has a $103.20 regular base fee, giving a calculated $77.40 fee after the code. See the active AquaFunded offer.

Establish which purchase-date policy applies
The official news policy permits news trading under a cap for accounts opened after 27 April 2026. It retains a different previous policy for older purchases. If an account falls on the transition date or its terms are unclear, confirm the applicable version with support.
The current policy tracks profits from trades opened or closed within five minutes before or after relevant high-impact events, including FOMC speeches and statements. It references Forex Factory and Myfxbook calendars.
Excess qualifying news profit is removed at the end of the payout cycle. The stated cap treatment does not itself add a penalty or breach. That does not exempt the same activity from other trading rules.
Use two profit columns, then one adjustment column
An editorial ledger can separate other recognized profit, news-window profit and the amount above the cap. For a simplified $25K account, starting balance × 0.005 produces the $125 news allowance.
The scenarios below assume all listed profit is otherwise eligible, no additional deductions and a correctly classified cycle. They are arithmetic illustrations, not payout approvals.
The last two scenarios produce different raw trading totals but the same amount after this specific adjustment. That is why a ledger should not estimate a reward by multiplying every displayed dollar by the reward share.
Do not grant a new cap to every announcement
The policy's measurement is per payout cycle. A ledger organized only by event can mistakenly give each release a fresh $125 allowance.
Keep an event-level record for classification and a cycle-level total for reconciliation. If an account shows separate adjustments that you cannot reproduce, request the firm's explanation instead of inventing rules for netting losses, overlapping events or partial executions. The public policy does not resolve every possible accounting edge case.
Order timestamps matter more than a strategy label
Calling a trade a swing setup or a technical setup does not establish whether it falls in a time-based news window. Preserve actual entry and exit timestamps and the calendar's time zone. A position entered long before an event may still close near it.
When reviewing a statement, distinguish an order submission from an execution and retain records of partial exits. This is a preparation method, not an assertion that every partial fill has a particular accounting treatment. Ask the firm to classify unclear cases.
Avoid planning to evade the cap through renamed strategies or fragmented orders. A clean record should make the actual sequence easier to understand.
Apply the reward share only after recognized-profit checks
The Two Step Elite guide lists a standard 90% share. If the $725 amount in the illustration were fully eligible after all other checks, 90% would be $652.50 before separate payment costs or adjustments.
By contrast, taking 90% of the $950 raw total in the last row would produce $855, overstating this simplified result by $202.50. The difference is 90% of the $225 excess news amount.
A qualifying-day requirement, daily or overall loss check and payout timing can still matter. The example does not promise that $652.50 can be requested from a real account. The simulation explanation distinguishes virtual account balances from approved real rewards.
Current Two Step Elite fees after COMPARE
The official Forex selector publishes these regular Two Step Elite base fees in its MetaTrader 5 configuration. The table applies COMPARE once, with no second public promotion.
These are purchase-fee calculations, not all-in trading costs. Optional upgrades, taxes, conversion charges and any separately priced services remain separate. Confirm country and platform eligibility before purchase.
A practical cycle-close review
Record the purchase-date terms, account model, starting size, payout-cycle dates, event classifications, raw profit and any adjustments. Keep the purchase invoice separate from the reward ledger.

The AquaFunded review provides wider context, and the Instant Flex guide explains another model's distinct overall reward cap.
A news cap, a model-level payout limit and a reward share are separate layers. Keeping them separate helps explain the amount in a request preview without assuming that the largest trading-history number is the final payable reward.
