Atlas Funded Futures requires positions closed by 4:45 PM New York time under its detailed trading-hours policy. Use the New York clock and an earlier contract-specific exchange close where applicable. A fixed local-time alarm can become wrong when daylight-saving dates differ.

Verified coupon code COMPARE gives 50% off eligible Atlas Funded Futures base purchase fees. The owner-attested code is listed in the current offer. Official rules and public prices reviewed 11 October 2026.

Three events that happen at different times

The Atlas trading-hours policy sets a 4:45 PM Eastern deadline and says positions remaining open afterward breach the account. Its normal next-session reopening reference is 6:00 PM Eastern. Those times serve different purposes.

The firm's daily cutoff, the exchange's next available session and a trader's own calendar date must be recorded separately. Reaching a reset time does not establish that order matching is available. Nor does a platform remaining connected establish permission to carry exposure through the cutoff.

The same policy prohibits holding across the daily close or weekend on Futures. That conflicts with the Futures storefront's broad weekend-holding claim. Obtain written confirmation for the purchased account if its supplied rules differ. Do not combine Forex holding permissions with a Futures schedule.

Convert Eastern Time using the trading date

Eastern Time changes between UTC−4 and UTC−5. NIST's daylight-saving schedule confirms that the US changes back on 1 November in 2026. The UK government calendar places the UK change on 25 October.

The resulting ordinary-session conversions are:

New York trading dates in 2026New York cutoffUTCLondonDubai
October 12–234:45 PM EDT20:4521:45 BST00:45 next day
October 26–304:45 PM EDT20:4520:45 GMT00:45 next day
November 2 onward, while US standard time applies4:45 PM EST21:4521:45 GMT01:45 next day

These are calculated time conversions, not a claim that every listed date has ordinary exchange hours. In the October mismatch week, a London alarm left at 21:45 would be one hour late. The UAE government identifies its time as GMT+4. Use a date-aware converter.

Atlas's hours page currently gives an inconsistent Dubai example, placing the US daylight-saving cutoff at 01:45. The arithmetic from 16:45 EDT is 20:45 UTC and 00:45 in Dubai the following day. Anchor the rule to New York rather than copying that local-time example. Recheck dates each year and whenever traveling.

Holiday hours can bring the effective deadline forward

CME's official trading-hours page provides date and product filters and states that its times are generally Central Time unless identified otherwise. Central and Eastern labels must be reconciled before comparing a product close with Atlas's cutoff.

Select the exact contract family and date. Check whether the notice describes continuous trading, a pause, final close or settlement. CME explains that a paused session permits cancellation but has no order matching; a preopen period also does not mean continuous execution has started.

An editorial planning rule is to work backward from the earliest applicable restriction. If a product closes before Atlas's normal cutoff, an alarm based solely on 4:45 PM Eastern is too late. Avoid using an equity-index schedule for a metal, energy or agricultural contract without checking its row.

Close exposure before auditing the day

Build enough time into the session to close positions and confirm the resulting status. An instruction sent to a platform and a completed fill are different events. Check the position quantity, working orders and execution record rather than relying on a chart that looks flat.

Review pending entry orders as well as current positions. An order capable of opening new exposure can undermine a completed closeout. This is an operational precaution, not a separately published Atlas cancellation deadline. Keep timestamps and order identifiers if the platform behaves unexpectedly.

The Statistics guide says dashboard data can take up to two minutes to synchronize. Do not wait until the final seconds and expect every screen to agree instantly. If the account and platform disagree, preserve both views and seek account-specific assistance; a screenshot alone does not reverse a breach.

What the reset changes in the account record

Under the Futures drawdown documentation, the ordinary retail programs recalculate their trailing floor using the highest end-of-day balance. Equity remains subject to the active floor during trading. The 4:45 PM checkpoint therefore affects the next session's room even after all positions are closed.

For journal purposes, save the closing balance and actual displayed floor before the next session. Do not assume that a losing day lowers a previously raised floor. Atlas Live uses different equity-trailing mechanics, covered in the Live transition guide.

The Futures day-count policy also uses the New York boundary. For example, an evening trade and the following morning's trade can fall in the same firm-defined day. Two local dates do not automatically create two qualifying days. Record the firm day alongside the local timestamp, especially when reviewing minimum-day progress.

Base-account pricing with COMPARE

For a same-size illustration, the official selector and its public pricing data gives these $50K regular fees. This is a price reference across the three retail routes, not a recommendation to buy this size.

Atlas Apex$50,000$199.00COMPARE50%$99.50$99.50

  1. Select Futures on the official Atlas Funded site.
  2. Choose the plan, size, platform and any optional features.
  3. Enter COMPARE in the checkout coupon field and apply it.
  4. Confirm the 50% covered base-fee reduction and complete payable total.

These calculations halve regular eligible base fees. They do not stack another promotion or establish discounts on add-ons, resets, taxes, payment costs or future services.

Read the Atlas Futures review before purchasing. The schedule should fit the hours you can actually supervise trading. Accounts are simulated, official pages contain material conflicts, and the full fee can be lost. A discounted purchase does not relax the daily-close requirement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Use a location-based New York time zone that follows daylight-saving changes. A permanently fixed EST offset can be wrong during daylight time. Check the alarm's next scheduled local occurrence.

No. Settlement is a pricing and accounting reference. Confirm the position quantity and actual closing execution in the trading platform; a published settlement value does not close an order for you.

Only if you also reconcile it with the firm's boundary. A device date is a local calendar label, while the Futures trading day is defined in New York time.

No. A connection can remain available for viewing account information while execution is unavailable or holding is prohibited. Check the applicable firm rules and contract session.

At the verified $139 regular base fee, the 50% reduction saves $69.50 and produces a $69.50 base price. Separate optional or later charges are not included.
