Blue Guardian Margin Stop-Out Math + Coupon Code CFP
OCT 9
2026

Quick answer: Blue Guardian’s platform policy sets margin stop-out at 100% and says the least profitable running trade closes automatically below that level. This is a platform margin control. It does not replace daily loss, maximum drawdown or Guardian Shield. Check each measure separately before deciding whether another order fits the account.
Coupon summary: Verified code CFP gives 25% off Blue Guardian Forex/CFD account purchase fees. Use the Blue Guardian offer for the correct market. The coupon changes the purchase fee; it does not alter trading charges or account limits.
Official information and regular purchase prices checked: 9 October 2026. Amounts are USD. The examples below explain calculations rather than recommending a trading position.
What does a 100% margin level measure?
In a standard margin-level calculation, margin level is account equity divided by used margin, multiplied by 100. Equity includes the current marked result of open positions; used margin is the amount reserved to support those positions. Use the values displayed by the selected platform rather than trying to infer margin solely from the nominal account size.
These are arithmetic examples, not recommended positions or statements that a particular order would be accepted. The same equity can produce very different margin levels as used margin changes. When used margin is zero, this division is not a useful trading-capacity number; inspect the platform’s own presentation instead of dividing by zero.
The official platform rules describe the 100% threshold and automatic closing. They do not promise a guaranteed execution price. A fast market can change equity while orders are being processed, so a threshold should not be treated as a substitute for a planned exit.
Why a high margin percentage can still hide a breach risk
Margin measures the relationship between equity and reserved margin. A prop-account loss rule measures losses against its own account reference. Those are different denominators. A margin level comfortably above 100% does not establish compliance with an account’s daily floor, overall floor or floating-loss control.
Consider an illustrative screen showing equity of $24,700 and used margin of $5,000. Margin level is 494%. Separately, three open tickets showing losses of $80, $90 and $85 have a combined floating loss of $255. That second total is the number to compare with any applicable floating-loss control. The 494% figure cannot answer that separate question.
The Instant Standard risk guide explains the model’s separate controls. A static evaluation route has another loss structure, covered in the Two-Step Standard guide. Choose the correct account rules before filling out a worksheet.
Build a four-check pre-order worksheet
Record current equity, used margin, the account’s active loss thresholds and combined floating P&L. Then check the proposed order’s additional margin using the selected instrument’s specifications. Do not copy a margin estimate from another symbol or platform without confirming that its contract size and leverage match.
An order that looks small in lots can still require meaningful margin if the symbol’s contract specification differs from another instrument. Conversely, low margin usage does not make a large potential loss acceptable under the firm’s rules.
What should you record after an automatic close?
Keep the account identifier, instrument, order timestamps, used margin and equity around the event, and the platform’s transaction reason. Distinguish an order rejected for insufficient margin from a position closed after stop-out. They are different events and need different evidence.
Do not assume a closed position means all risk has disappeared. Other tickets can remain open, the daily result has changed, and the account’s status may need review. Compare the current account dashboard with the execution history. If the reason is unclear, ask support about the exact transaction rather than describing every automatic close as a drawdown breach.
What does an Instant account cost with CFP?
The official Forex catalog displays these regular Instant base fees. Apply the single 25% reduction to the regular fee, rather than reducing an already discounted promotional display again.
For example, $208 × 0.75 = $156. Paid reward-share upgrades, taxes, conversion costs and other separately billed items are outside these base-fee calculations. Trading costs are a separate budget; CFP is not a discount on each executed order.
