The 9% target and three profitable days

The official Standard document assigns a 9% target to accounts purchased from 20 August onward; earlier purchases keep their original 10% target. On the current 50K configuration, the target is therefore $4,500. The account also needs three qualifying days with at least 0.5% profit, or $250 each.

Profit-day example

A $4,000 day followed by $300 and $250 gives $4,550 across three qualifying days. A $4,400 day followed by $100 and $50 reaches the same total but only the first day meets the $250 qualifying-day amount. Total profit and counted days are different tests.

Trailing overall loss and the daily reset

The initial overall floor is $47,000. The 6% allowance follows the highest closed-balance watermark and locks at starting balance after the specified profit milestone. The daily floor is calculated separately at the firm's stated 5 PM EST reset from the higher of balance or equity, subtracting the fixed $2,000 amount.

Floating-profit reset example

If balance is $50,500 and equity is $51,400 at reset, the daily reference is $51,400 and the resulting daily floor is $49,400. Giving back an open gain can therefore consume daily room even when closed balance still looks healthy. Monitor both active limits together.

Guardian Shield has lasting consequences

On the funded account, the Standard rule page describes a 2% combined floating-loss Shield trigger. At the initial 50K reference that is $1,000 across open trades. The page says positions are generally closed when triggered, but it also lists consequences: the first breach reduces the profit split to 50%, and the second permanently breaches the account.

The same document says the Shield record does not reset and the original split is not reinstated. Treating it as a harmless daily pause would miss a material reward condition. It is separate from both the daily loss boundary and the trailing overall floor.

Reward requests and execution restrictions

The standard reward share is 85%, before any Shield-related reduction. After the trailing floor locks at breakeven, the model retains a 1% withdrawal buffer, or $500 on the initial 50K size. Reward availability therefore needs a remaining-balance check as well as a profit calculation.

Funded execution is restricted during the relevant five minutes before and after high-impact news. The two-minute holding rule also applies. The model document permits overnight and weekend holding, but that permission does not remove news, duration or loss conditions. Use the base reward package's current schedule and any selected upgrade when planning the request.
