Quick answer: FundedNext CFD's published cancellation policy requires an unused account and a request within its seven-day window. Starting to trade makes the account fee non-refundable under that policy. Check the original order and every separately charged feature before assuming the whole payment can be returned.

Coupon summary: Verified code CFP offers up to 50% off CFD accounts through the FundedNext CFD offer. A purchase discount does not extend the refund window or remove exclusions.

Official sources reviewed: 9 October 2026. This article concerns cancelling an unused purchase. The later performance-linked return of a qualifying challenge fee is a separate benefit with separate requirements.

Check the clock before taking a test trade

The official refund policy describes a seven-day window and says trading must not have started. Its wording refers to both registration and purchase dates. Where those dates differ, obtain written clarification rather than assuming a later deadline.

Keep the registration confirmation, order timestamp and request timestamp. Include their time zones. A calendar note saying only “next Friday” can obscure the exact elapsed time, especially when a payment and a dashboard confirmation display different zones.

A cautious operational approach is to raise an unwanted purchase promptly and before either possible seven-day interpretation expires. That is a recordkeeping precaution, not a new contractual deadline or a guarantee of eligibility.

Do not place a small trade merely to test the paid account while deciding whether to cancel. The policy's trigger is beginning to trade, not reaching a particular profit, loss or position size. “I closed it immediately” does not establish an exception in the published text.

Preserve a clear account-status record

Before sending a request, record the account identifier, purchased model, platform and whether any execution appears in the history. Inspect the actual trade record rather than relying only on the current position screen: a flat account can still have completed trades.

A useful status checklist includes:

  • Original purchase and registration confirmations
  • The account ID tied to that order
  • Transaction and invoice identifiers
  • Trading history showing whether any trades occurred
  • Any reset or top-up history
  • The refund request timestamp and support case number

These records help support assess the purchase. They do not override the firm's policy, and a screenshot alone does not prove approval. Avoid sending passwords, full card details or other unnecessary payment information with a routine support request.

Separate the base fee from excluded components

The published refund policy identifies a $25 cTrader or Match-Trader platform fee as non-refundable, with an exception in that statement for U.S.-based Match-Trader traders. Check the exact location and platform configuration attached to the order instead of applying the $25 line universally.

The current cTrader information also states that new cTrader purchases are unavailable to U.S.-based traders. A refund calculation should follow the product actually purchased rather than a platform another trader used previously.

The EA usage policy separately makes EA and VPS & EA usage fees non-refundable, including when unused. Those fees are also excluded from the later Refundable Fee benefit. Treating every invoice line as one refundable “challenge fee” would hide that distinction.

Invoice componentWhat to establish before requesting
Discounted challenge base feeAmount actually paid and unused-account eligibility
Platform feeApplicable platform, location and published exception
EA or VPS & EA usage chargeNon-refundable treatment in the EA policy
Other optional featuresTerms applicable to the exact purchased option
Payment, conversion or tax entriesActual invoice treatment and any applicable return terms

This table deliberately does not promise a refund of every remaining line. If a charge's treatment is unclear, ask for a line-by-line explanation.

Use the paid amount in the reconciliation

Suppose a hypothetical invoice shows a $100 discounted challenge fee and a separately charged $25 platform fee that the applicable policy excludes. The invoice totals $125. A proposed cancellation calculation must start from those paid amounts, not from the undiscounted catalog price.

That example illustrates the accounting only. It does not establish that a particular request qualifies or promise a $100 refund. Other charges, account use, timing and the governing terms still need review.

Maintain three columns: amount paid, amount requested and amount approved. Once money returns, add the actual amount and date received. This prevents confusing a support acknowledgement with completed repayment or overlooking a partial refund.

A reset or top-up changes the question

FundedNext's reset and top-up refund note says users who have traded, reset or topped up the account are no longer eligible under its unused-account refund policy.

Do not buy a reset as a way to make an already used account “unused” again. Preserve the original account history and describe what happened accurately. A new account state after a reset does not erase the earlier use for this purpose.

The separate performance-linked Refundable Fee benefit also should not be booked as money already recovered. It depends on reaching the relevant account and reward conditions. For the broader evaluation and reward path, see the Stellar 2-Step account guide.

Base purchase prices before optional charges

The official Stellar 2-Step catalog, reviewed on 9 October 2026, supports these standard international base fees. The table calculates the maximum advertised 50% scenario only. It does not calculate a refundable amount.

PlanSizeRegular USD feeCodeConditional discountSavingsCalculated base fee
Stellar 2-Step CFD$6K$59.99CFPFull 50%, if applicable$29.99$30.00
Stellar 2-Step CFD$15K$119.99CFPFull 50%, if applicable$59.99$60.00
Stellar 2-Step CFD$25K$199.99CFPFull 50%, if applicable$99.99$100.00

Final base amounts are rounded to cents, and savings reconcile to the rounded result. CFP may apply at a smaller percentage. Platform fees, add-ons, taxes and payment charges are separate; another public promotion is not stacked into these calculations.

Apply the code only after reviewing the purchase

  1. Select the CFD challenge, size and available platform.
  2. Read the refund terms and optional-feature exclusions before paying.
  3. Enter CFP and inspect the actual discount and complete order total.
  4. Save the invoice and the rules associated with the purchase.
  5. If you decide to cancel, stop before trading and submit an accurate request promptly through official support.
