FundedNext Futures Price Limits + Coupon Code CFP
OCT 9
2026

Quick answer: FundedNext Futures prohibits trading within its two-percentage-point exclusion zone before the relevant CME price limit. Its equity-index example uses a 7% exchange limit, producing a 5% move from the reference price as the firm’s boundary. Check the exact contract and session before using that example; exchange limits are not identical throughout the day.
Code: CFP
Use verified code CFP for 50% off eligible FundedNext Futures purchase fees. The current CFP offer provides the coupon scope. Official rules and Flex base prices checked 9 October 2026. Prices are USD. This article explains an account-compliance check, not a prediction of market direction.
Separate the exchange limit from the account restriction
The official FundedNext price-limit guide describes a restricted area before the exchange boundary. Its calculation subtracts two percentage points from a 7% limit. It does not mean that every ordinary 2% price move is prohibited, nor does it mean taking 2% of the numerical limit price.
CME’s current price-limit page publishes limits by product and contract. Its equity-index explanation distinguishes overnight up-and-down limits from daytime downside circuit-breaker levels and later-session treatment. Consequently, a screenshot of yesterday’s overnight settings is insufficient evidence for another contract or trading session.
An exchange accepting an order also does not certify compliance with a prop-firm restriction. The exchange and the program are applying different tests. The purpose of the account check is to know the permitted range before an order is submitted.
Work through a clearly labeled example
Assume, only for illustration, an equity-index reference price of 20,000 and an applicable 7% limit in each direction. Applying the method in FundedNext’s guide gives:
A hypothetical quote of 20,960 is 4.8% above this reference. A quote of 21,040 is 5.2% above it and beyond the example’s upper firm boundary, even though it remains below 21,400. The distinction is the practical reason to monitor the firm’s earlier boundary.
These are invented levels, not current NQ or ES quotes. Do not copy them into an order ticket. Likewise, this symmetric example does not establish a new universal ±5% permission for every instrument or session. Obtain the applicable exchange reference and the firm’s treatment for that specific market.
Percentage points matter to the calculation
Seven percent less two percentage points is five percent. Multiplying seven percent by 98% would instead give 6.86%, a completely different boundary. At the hypothetical 20,000 reference, that mistaken method would produce 21,372 on the upside, much nearer the exchange limit than the program’s example allows.
Keep the inputs visible in the worksheet. A cell labeled only “2% rule” hides whether the calculation uses a percentage-point subtraction, a price discount, or a move from a previous close. Documenting the reference and method makes a later review possible.
Build a contract-and-session check
Before the session, record the actual futures symbol including its expiry, the exchange source date, the applicable session, the reference price and the published price limits. Then record the program boundary and where the platform displays percentage change.
FundedNext recommends its platform’s percentage-net-change display as a monitoring aid. Treat that as an aid rather than assume its reference is always identical to the reference used in a manually prepared worksheet. If the numbers disagree, resolve the input difference before relying on either calculation.
A useful operational record has these fields:
- Contract and expiry actually selected in the order ticket
- Relevant session and timezone
- Source date and reference level
- Firm restriction for that contract and session
- Current quote timestamp and displayed percentage change
- Open positions and outstanding orders that still need attention
Avoid waiting for an exact boundary print to think about risk. A fast move, delayed quote or rejected cancellation can leave less time than a static chart suggests. This is a reason for advance planning, not a claim that a particular stop or alert guarantees execution.
Do not confuse news permission with unrestricted execution
The Futures general FAQ permits news trading but warns that rapid movement can cause a stop to fill away from its intended level. The prohibited-practices policy separately covers price-limit proximity, illiquid-market exploitation and other conduct.
For a trader’s checklist, news permission answers only one question. The next questions concern the instrument’s available trading range, current liquidity, account loss room and position limits. A positive answer to the first does not resolve the remaining checks.
If a platform becomes unreliable, preserve the order and fill records and establish the actual position state. Repeated order submissions while the state is unknown can create additional uncertainty. Ask support about any unclear handling of existing exposure near a restriction rather than inventing an exception.
Flex purchase prices after CFP
The official Flex page displays the following regular base prices. CFP is applied once, without stacking the site’s separate public sale.
Final fees are rounded to cents; savings equal regular price minus that rounded result. The odd-cent prices create half-cent rounding, so checkout may allocate the final cent differently. Resets, optional upgrades, tax and separately billed services are excluded. The general FAQ describes one-time challenge pricing without monthly subscriptions or passing activation fees.
Select the intended Futures configuration, enter CFP before payment and inspect the itemized order. Keep its receipt and rule version. The fee reduction does not widen the permitted trading range.
For broader context, see the FundedNext Futures review and own-account copying checklist. A copied account needs the same current market check as the account generating the order.
How to use CFP
- Open the official account page and choose the exact plan, size and available configuration.
- Enter CFP in the coupon field before paying and apply it.
- Review the eligible base fee, applied discount and complete total, including any separate charges or later payments.
- Confirm the account rules and save the receipt and selected program terms.
