Quick answer: Before buying another FundedNext Futures challenge near a live review, check what will happen to the accounts already paid for. The current Rapid and Flex transition policy says active challenges close without refunds at an actual live transition. Funded accounts are treated differently depending on whether they have already produced a successful withdrawal.

Verified code: CFP · 50% off covered FundedNext Futures account purchase fees. View the current offer. A cheaper new challenge can still become an unnecessary purchase if the trader's whole profile is about to move to live.

Code: CFP

Official facts and prices checked: 7 October 2026. This guide focuses on the account inventory and cost questions around the Rapid/Flex live-review process, rather than treating a review milestone as a guaranteed live start date.

Keep the next purchase visible in the account inventory

The official Rapid page lists these regular one-time prices. Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily use distinct reward rules even where the base fees match. The calculations apply CFP once to the undiscounted price, without a second public promotion.

ChallengeSizeRegular fee USDCodeDiscountSaving USDCalculated final fee USD
Rapid Pro or Rapid Daily$25,000$159.98CFP50%$79.99$79.99
Rapid Pro or Rapid Daily$50,000$299.98CFP50%$149.99$149.99
Rapid Pro or Rapid Daily$100,000$499.98CFP50%$249.99$249.99

Resets, upgrades, taxes, conversion and later services are excluded. At $50K, $299.98 × 0.50 = $149.99 for the covered purchase. Add that paid amount to the account's record rather than counting the nominal $50,000 balance as an asset owned by the trader.

Separate review eligibility from a confirmed transition

The current Road to Live Trading guide for Rapid and Flex says traders new to live are shortlisted for the review pool when requesting their 15th Performance Reward across the profile. This request trigger should not be confused with waiting for 15 completed cash receipts. Selection depends on the firm's assessment, and accounts may be held during review. An actual transition occurs after the payout cycle prompting it has concluded.

Those are distinct events for purchase planning. Reaching a count does not establish that a particular account will be live tomorrow. Equally, waiting until the transition notice arrives may leave little reason to buy more evaluations immediately beforehand.

The useful question for support is specific: which accounts and purchase commitments are affected by this review, and which stage has the profile actually reached? Save the response with the account IDs and the current invitation or review notice.

Sort accounts by their status at transition

The same transition guide describes the following treatment. This is a summary of its current policy, not a promise that every account in a trader's personal inventory has already been selected.

Account state at the actual transitionPublished treatmentRecord to confirm
Active Challenge accountClosed permanently; no refundChallenge ID and paid purchase/reset costs
FundedNext account with at least one successful withdrawalEligible account transitions to live, subject to selection and the overall limitAccount ID and completed withdrawal record
FundedNext account with zero payoutsClosed; its stated funded-account cost is refunded within 24 hours after transition completionExact refundable amount and payment destination

The guide limits a transition to five live accounts. It treats selection at trader-profile level, so planning should cover the whole inventory rather than assuming each funded account has an independent invitation schedule.

The phrase describing a funded-account cost refund does not itemize every historical purchase, reset or optional charge. Do not add them together and call the total refundable without a written breakdown for that account.

A purchase decision with two unfinished evaluations

Consider a hypothetical trader approaching review who already owns two unfinished Rapid $50K challenges purchased at the calculated CFP price of $149.99 each. Their recorded purchase outlay is $299.98, excluding resets or extras.

If those two accounts are still active challenges when the trader actually transitions, the current policy describes closure without refund. Buying a third identical challenge would raise the recorded challenge outlay to $449.97. The additional $149.99 does not become a refundable balance simply because the trader has other funded accounts.

This example is a cost-exposure calculation, not a recommendation to halt legitimate trading or assume an invitation is certain. Its purpose is to show why a near-review trader should resolve account treatment before multiplying purchases. The coupon saving and the possibility of unused access belong in the same decision.

Keep a zero-payout funded account in a different row

Now suppose the trader also has a passed, funded account that has never received a payout. It belongs in the zero-payout funded row, not the active-challenge row. Record its state accurately and ask the firm to identify the refund amount under the current transition policy.

A passed evaluation, a payout request awaiting review and a successful withdrawal are different records. Verify which status the firm recognizes at transition rather than treating a pending request as completed. The public wording uses successful withdrawal history for the transition distinction.

Add live operating costs only when the destination is confirmed

FundedNext's live data-fee article says live traders become professional data users and subscribe monthly through Tradovate. Its linked NinjaTrader fee schedule currently lists $156 per month per CME-group exchange for professional users.

Keep that as a contingent operating expense until the live connection and required entitlements are confirmed. CFP's covered challenge discount does not establish a reduction on that later subscription. For instrument mapping, FundedNext identifies ES and NQ with CME, GC with COMEX and CL with NYMEX; confirm only the access actually needed.

This prevents two opposite budget errors: assuming a one-time challenge purchase includes all later live services, or charging a simulated-stage budget for a live subscription that has not begun. Confirm activation date, renewal terms and any partial-month treatment in the actual dashboard before committing.

Build a concise review record

Keep one row per account with:

  • Exact account ID, model, size and current stage
  • Purchase price actually paid and separately billed resets
  • Completed withdrawal count, with pending requests separate
  • Review notice and confirmed transition status
  • Expected closure or transition treatment, plus any written clarification
  • Refund amount requested, approved and received as separate entries

The record helps reconcile events without assuming that a website label, a dashboard state and a payment receipt all update at the same moment. An expected refund should remain an expected item until the actual credit arrives.

Apply CFP after checking the purchase still fits

  1. Open the current Futures offer and follow the official route.
  2. Select the exact model, reward path, size and available options.
  3. Enter CFP and confirm the covered 50% reduction and total.
  4. Save the purchase receipt and place the account in the correct inventory row.

For broader program context, see the FundedNext Futures review and own-account copying guide. The Rapid Daily buffer guide covers the separate question of payout eligibility before a transition.

Affiliate disclosure: Compare Futures Prop may earn a commission from links or codes. Challenges and simulated reward accounts do not confer ownership of their headline balances. A separately approved live transition involves real-market risk and additional terms. The examples do not guarantee selection, reimbursement beyond the applicable policy, or trading profits.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. The current Rapid and Flex policy says requesting the 15th Performance Reward shortlists the profile for review. Selection and the actual transition are separate decisions.

The current Rapid and Flex transition guide says active Challenge accounts close permanently and are not eligible for refunds.

The guide says it closes and its stated funded-account cost is refunded within 24 hours after transition completion. Confirm the exact amount rather than assuming all previous resets or extras are included.

Keep pending and completed items separate. The transition policy distinguishes accounts by successful withdrawal history, so confirm the status recognized by the firm.

The verified CFP offer covers the stated Futures program purchase fees. No reviewed source establishes a CFP reduction on professional exchange-data subscriptions.
