Quick answer: GOAT Funded Trader Blitz's 5% trailing floor follows the highest recorded equity. A reversal to the starting balance does not restore the original loss room. On a hypothetical $10K account that reaches $10,400 equity, 95% of that high is $9,880, leaving only $120 above the floor if equity returns to $10,000.

Verified code: AUDIT. Discount: 45% off GOAT Funded Trader Forex/CFD purchase fees. The $10K Blitz regular catalog fee is $117, giving a calculated $64.35 base fee. The GOAT Trader offer is separate from the GOAT futures offer.

Why peak equity matters after the profit disappears

The current Blitz rulebook bases maximum loss on the highest recorded equity. The floor rises with a new high and does not fall when equity retreats. Its 5% rule is different from subtracting a permanently fixed $500 from every future peak on a $10K account.

For a simplified example, calculate peak equity × 0.95. Keep peak equity and current equity in separate columns.

Hypothetical peak equityCalculated 95% floorCurrent equity in exampleDistance above floor
$10,000$9,500$10,000$500
$10,200$9,690$10,000$310
$10,400$9,880$10,000$120

These rows are alternative snapshots, not a forecast. The $10,400 high raises the floor by $380 compared with the initial snapshot. Recording only the final closed balance would hide that change.

A journal needs more than closed profit

A useful review records the highest equity observed, the actual displayed floor and the current equity. A screenshot or exported account metric can help reconcile an unexpected threshold, without assuming that a closed-trade report contains every relevant intratrade high.

Do not substitute another GOAT model's lock or post-payout reset rule. If the purchased dashboard differs from the general page, resolve the specific account's terms with official support before relying on a formula.

A second loss gate can bind at the same time

Blitz also has a 2% combined floating-loss rule tied to initial balance, plus its daily limit. On $10K, the floating-loss reference is $200. The model page describes immediate closure at the loss threshold in its worked example, so leaving room below that amount is more prudent than relying on boundary wording.

Consider a hypothetical account with $10,300 closed balance and $10,150 equity. Open P&L is minus $150. If the current trailing floor is $9,880, the equity-to-floor distance is $270, while only $50 separates the floating loss from the $200 reference. A large floor distance does not make the open-loss test irrelevant.

These measurements answer different questions. One compares equity with a historical high; the other looks at current open losses. The actual daily threshold is a third independent check. All figures must come from the same account and observation time.

The phase objective is another measurement

Blitz's evaluation target is 3%. Its profitable-days policy requires five qualifying days in evaluation and five per funded payout, each at 0.5% of initial balance net of costs. On $10K, those references are $300 for the evaluation target and $50 for one qualifying day.

A $300 profit total and a complete five-day counter are separate facts. Neither means a later trade may ignore the current floor. When moving to funded, add the applicable payout conditions to the record rather than deleting risk controls after passing.

The HERO day-count guide explains another model. Its instant route and day requirements should not be substituted for Blitz.

Blitz regular prices after AUDIT

The official Forex/CFD selector publishes these regular Blitz base fees. Availability still follows the live selector and release schedule.

PlanSizeRegular USD feeCodeDiscountSavingsCalculated final base fee
GOAT Blitz$5,000$77.00AUDIT45%$34.65$42.35
GOAT Blitz$10,000$117.00AUDIT45%$52.65$64.35
GOAT Blitz$25,000$247.00AUDIT45%$111.15$135.85

For $10K, $117 × 0.45 saves $52.65, leaving $64.35. These calculations apply once to the regular fee. Optional additions, payment charges, taxes and other separately priced services are not included; another sale is not stacked with AUDIT.

Make the purchase record useful later

  1. Open the official Forex/CFD selector and check that Blitz is available.
  2. Select GOAT Blitz, account size and platform.
  3. Review the regular base fee and any optional additions.
  4. Enter AUDIT and apply the 45% discount.
  5. Check the complete invoice and save the model, size, purchase date and agreed terms.

Then create a small risk record with current equity, peak equity, dashboard floor, daily threshold and combined open P&L. Reconcile it after a new equity high or account-stage change. This is a bookkeeping method, not an instruction to increase size or pursue a particular return.

See the GOAT Funded Trader review for broader account comparisons. These programs use simulated trading; the nominal balance is not a cash deposit, and discounted access does not guarantee funding approval or a reward.
