Phidias Premium Profit Split: The Five-Payout Path From 75% to 100%
Phidias Premium does not use one fixed trader share forever. Its official rules describe a progressive payout structure that starts at 75% and reaches 100% from the fifth payout onward.
That creates a different planning problem from a standard 80/20 or 90/10 program. Early withdrawals carry a lower share, while traders who keep the account compliant through several cycles earn a larger percentage later.
This guide explains the ladder, calculates the effect on identical payout amounts, and shows why the account’s swing permissions do not remove its funded-stage risk controls.
The Official Premium Profit-Split Ladder
Phidias lists the Premium trader share as:
- First payout: 75%
- Second payout: 80%
- Third payout: 85%
- Fourth payout: 90%
- Fifth and later payouts: 100%
The current Phidias rules page and Premium swing-account guide were checked on August 30, 2026. Both describe payouts every five trading days and a split that progresses to 100%.
The sequence depends on approved payouts. Reaching a profit level without completing an eligible withdrawal does not automatically move the account to the next percentage.
What the Ladder Means in Dollars
Assume a trader makes an eligible $2,000 request in each of the first five cycles.
Payout One at 75%
The trader share is $1,500. The firm share is $500.
Payout Two at 80%
The trader share is $1,600. The firm share is $400.
Payout Three at 85%
The trader share is $1,700. The firm share is $300.
Payout Four at 90%
The trader share is $1,800. The firm share is $200.
Payout Five at 100%
The trader keeps the full $2,000 under the published split.
Across five equal $2,000 approved payouts, total requested profit is $10,000 and the trader share is $8,600. That is an effective 86% across the five-payout journey. From the fifth payout onward, the marginal trader share is 100%.
These calculations isolate the split. Actual requests remain subject to the account’s eligibility, balance, consistency, cap, verification and compliance requirements.
Premium Is the Swing-Capable Phidias Route
Premium’s other defining feature is position-holding flexibility. Phidias says Premium permits overnight and weekend holding, while Express to Live and Fundamental are intraday programs.
This makes Premium relevant for strategies that need:
- Multi-session trend exposure
- Overnight continuation setups
- Weekend holds permitted by the account and market schedule
- Less dependence on closing every position before the daily cutoff
Permission does not mean risk disappears. Exchange closures, illiquidity, contract expiration, price gaps and the account’s maximum-loss rule still apply.
Evaluation and Funded Consistency Are Different
Phidias’ April 27, 2026 Phidias 2.0 announcement states that Premium has no consistency rule during evaluation. It also says a 30% rule applies on the funded cash account.
That distinction matters:
- Passing the evaluation can be possible without an evaluation best-day restriction.
- Payout planning in the cash-funded stage requires profit to be distributed within the funded rule.
- A trader should not reuse the evaluation checklist for a payout request.
A common calculation for a 30% best-day rule is:
Required total profit = largest winning day ÷ 0.30
If the largest funded winning day is $900, the relevant total profit needs to reach $3,000 for that day to equal 30%.
Use the dashboard’s official calculation because the exact profit window and reset behavior are controlled by the funded agreement.
One-Day Evaluation Does Not Mean One-Day Payout
Phidias says Premium can pass evaluation in one trading day. The funded cash account then uses a five-trading-day payout cadence.
These are separate milestones:
- Meet the Premium evaluation target and every evaluation rule.
- Complete account review and funded activation.
- Trade the cash account within its drawdown and consistency rules.
- Complete the required funded trading period.
- Submit an eligible payout request.
- Advance the split only after the payout is approved under the program.
A fast evaluation therefore does not eliminate the funded qualification process.
How to Plan the First Five Cycles
Protect the Account Before Maximizing a Request
The rising split gives the account option value. Losing the account after the first withdrawal also loses access to the higher future percentages.
Leave enough room above the active loss floor for normal variance. A maximum permitted request can be less valuable than a smaller request that preserves a robust trading cushion.
Keep Best-Day Concentration Under Control
When one day becomes too large relative to total profit, reduce size and allow other profitable days to expand the denominator. Do not chase more profit with larger risk simply to fix consistency.
Record Each Approved Payout Number
Maintain a simple ledger:
- Payout sequence number
- Gross eligible request
- Trader-share percentage
- Net trader amount
- Post-payout account balance
- Current drawdown threshold
- Next eligible request date
This prevents confusion about whether the account has reached the 85%, 90% or 100% stage.
Premium Versus Other Phidias Accounts
Express to Live and Fundamental use a fixed 80% trader share according to Phidias’ current published rules. Premium begins below that level at 75%, equals 80% on the second payout, then rises above it from the third payout.
The comparison is not only about the final 100% figure.
Premium may better fit a trader who needs swing permissions and expects to maintain the account over repeated cycles. A trader who prefers a fixed share, intraday operation, static drawdown or direct live conversion should separately examine Express to Live and Fundamental.
Important Risks Around Swing Holding
Before holding overnight or over a weekend:
- Confirm the exact contract is permitted
- Check the exchange calendar and early closes
- Avoid expiring or thin contracts
- Model gap risk beyond the intended stop
- Cancel unintended working orders
- Recalculate drawdown room
- Confirm any news-event conditions
- Use smaller size when the market cannot be exited
A firm rule allowing the hold does not guarantee execution at the intended exit price.
