The5ers High Stakes prohibits new entries in the two minutes before and after relevant high-impact news, including entries triggered by pending orders. Existing positions may be held through the event. The dedicated FAQ expressly limits this rule to opening positions and distinguishes pre-set stop-loss and take-profit exits. A pending order placed earlier can still create a prohibited entry when it fills. Official High Stakes news policy.

This guide is for The5ers CFD High Stakes. Verified code: AUDIT gives 10% off eligible CFD purchase fees. See the current The5ers CFD offer. Official sources were checked 9 October 2026; the purchase-price example is calculated.

Start with the event clock and the order's purpose

The news FAQ refers to Forex Factory and the trading server's clock. Record the scheduled event time as it appears in the clock you will use for execution. A calendar displayed in your computer's local time and a platform displayed in server time cannot be compared safely without conversion.

For a hypothetical event at 15:30 server time, mark a restricted-entry interval from 15:28 through 15:32. This example does not identify a real release or assert a permanent UTC offset. An operational margin outside the boundary is sensible because clicking a button and receiving a fill are separate events. The firm's published interval remains two minutes on each side.

Build the pre-event list around instructions that can increase exposure. Include resting buy stops, sell stops, limits and any automated entry system. A screen with no open position can still contain an instruction capable of opening one later.

Distinguish an entry order from a protective exit

The practical question is what the instruction does when triggered. A buy stop above the market could open a position. A stop loss attached to an existing position closes exposure under its configured conditions. They should occupy different columns in an order inventory.

MetaQuotes' MT5 order documentation explains the difference between market orders, pending entries and position-linked stop-loss/take-profit orders. Its order-state fields also distinguish placed, filled, canceled and rejected instructions. Use the actual state and resulting deal when reviewing an event, rather than relying on what you intended to happen.

An editorial worksheet can contain:

FieldWhat to record
AccountHigh Stakes variant and current stage
EventName, affected currency or index and server-time release
InstructionEntry, existing position or protective exit
TimingPlacement time and actual execution time separately
ResultFilled, canceled, rejected or still pending
Follow-upApplicable rule and any unresolved support question

This worksheet is a recordkeeping aid, not a firm-mandated form. Keep it short enough to update during a normal session.

Resolve uncertainty before the window opens

Consider an entry order placed at 15:20 that fills at 15:29. The placement was outside the sample restricted interval, but the new exposure began inside it. For the rule check, the earlier placement timestamp does not establish permission.

Now consider a position already open at 15:20 with a protective exit triggered at 15:29. The current dedicated FAQ expressly distinguishes such existing-position exits from new entries. Do not remove a protective stop merely because a broad summary uses the word “orders.” If the account agreement or dashboard assigns different terms, obtain clarification before the session.

For any cancellation, verify the result. A request sent to the terminal is not the same record as a successfully canceled instruction. Recheck the pending-order list and account history. If an automated tool can create another entry after you cancel the first, review the tool's entry behavior as well.

News bracketing has an additional restriction

Moving a pair of entry orders just outside the two-minute interval is not a complete compliance test. The5ers separately prohibits bracketing around high-impact releases, described as buy and sell stops placed around price to capture the announcement's move. Its prohibited-practices policy applies to evaluation and funded accounts and also addresses excessive exposure, account management and abusive execution methods.

That broader rule matters when reviewing a strategy rather than one timestamp. A mechanically valid entry time does not establish that the surrounding method is permitted. Keep a written explanation of why the trade belongs to the normal strategy and how the position risk was chosen. Ask support about an unclear method before building a session around it.

The general High Stakes rules say profits from restricted news activity are deducted and do not advance the target, while losses remain. Track the platform result and eligible evaluation progress separately until any adjustment is settled.

For arithmetic only, imagine a statement showing $620 of net gains that includes a $180 winning trade later excluded. The remaining figure is $440 before any other adjustment. Treating the original $620 as settled progress would overstate it by $180. This is an accounting illustration, not a prediction of the firm's decision on a particular trade.

After a disputed event, retain the calendar reference, server-time trade history and order identifiers. A concise support question should identify the specific entry or exit being reviewed. A screenshot of the current balance alone usually cannot explain when the exposure was created.

Purchase cost remains a separate decision

The current High Stakes page directly displays the New $2,500 entry at $19. The following calculation applies AUDIT once to that confirmed base fee.

PlanSizeRegular priceCodeDiscountSavingsFinal price
New High Stakes CFD$2,500$19.00AUDIT10%$1.90$17.10

Amounts are USD before separately charged extras. Other sizes, Classic and temporary sales need their own selected price check; this row does not combine promotions. The discount affects entry cost, while trading restrictions continue throughout the account's applicable stages.

Use the The5ers CFD offer and firm review for the broader comparison. The New High Stakes account guide covers targets and loss calculations; this checklist focuses on the event-time order record.

How to apply AUDIT to a CFD purchase

  1. Open the official High Stakes page and select the exact New or Classic account and size.
  2. Check that the selected regular price matches the intended configuration.
  3. Enter AUDIT in the coupon field and apply it.
  4. Verify the 10% reduction and full order total, including separate charges. Do not assume temporary promotions combine with the code.
  5. Review the account rules and purchase terms before proceeding, and retain the receipt. The coupon does not change the news-entry restriction.

Frequently Asked Questions

New entries are prohibited in the two minutes before and after relevant high-impact news. Match the event and execution timestamps to the trading server clock and the current dedicated news policy.

Yes. An order placed before the restricted interval can create a prohibited new entry if it fills inside that interval. Review execution time and the resulting exposure, not placement time alone.

The dedicated FAQ distinguishes existing-position protective exits from new entries and allows existing positions to be held through news. Do not remove a protective stop because a broader summary uses the word orders; clarify any account-specific conflict first.

No. AUDIT gives 10% off eligible CFD purchase fees. The illustrated New High Stakes $2,500 regular fee of $19 becomes a calculated $17.10, while the trading restrictions remain unchanged.
