Quick answer: Vest Markets 1-Step accounts with a 10% target require one evaluation stage. Choose a $5,000, $10,000 or $25,000 account, then a 3%, 4% or no daily loss limit and an 80% or 90% trader share. Every configuration has a documented 6% static maximum-loss allowance. Use 24AUDIT for 10% off all accounts; the code was verified on 19 October 2026 by the Compare Futures Prop site owner.

The basic 10% target configuration uses a 3% daily limit and 80% share. Its final purchase fees are $36 for $5,000, $72 for $10,000 and $189 for $25,000. This guide covers all 18 configurations using that target, including the higher-share and no-daily-limit choices.

Final price is regular fee multiplied by 0.90. The amounts above are account-fee calculations from the official account matrix, reviewed on 14 October 2026. Payment-provider or network charges, if separately charged, are outside the account-fee calculation.

How Much Does the 90% Share Cost?

On the $10,000 account with a 3% daily limit, the 80% share costs $72 after discount and the 90% share costs $86.40. The additional upfront fee is $14.40.

For a hypothetical $1,000 qualifying profit claim, an 80% share is $800 and a 90% share is $900. That $100 difference illustrates the percentage calculation. It does not predict a trader's future profit or compensation.

What Changes with a 4% Daily Limit?

For the same $10,000 size and 80% share, the published 3% daily-limit fee becomes $72 and the 4% daily-limit fee becomes $99. The larger daily allowance costs $27 more upfront after 24AUDIT.

The overall maximum loss remains $600 in either configuration. A wider daily allowance therefore affects how losses can be distributed within a day; it does not add to the total initial 6% loss budget.

Profit Target and Static Loss Budget in Dollars

Size10% goalLoss allowanceStatic floor
$5,000$500$300$4,700
$10,000$1,000$600$9,400
$25,000$2,500$1,500$23,500

On a $10,000 account, the qualification goal is $1,000 while the initial maximum-loss allowance is $600. Dividing the goal by that allowance gives approximately 1.67. This ratio is useful for comparing the target's size against the available loss budget; it is not a required trade-level risk-to-reward ratio.

The floor stays fixed if profits increase the balance. If current equity rises to $10,500, the $9,400 static floor does not rise to follow it. Unrealized losses still count in current equity.

Daily Loss Reset: A Worked $10,000 Example

The daily reset boundary is 20:00 New York time. Vest captures a reset balance including reserved collateral and excluding unrealized profit and loss.

At a $10,000 reset balance, a 3% daily limit sets a $9,700 daily floor before transfers. A 4% limit sets a $9,600 daily floor. The separate $9,400 maximum-loss floor remains active in both cases.

Trading profit during the day does not move that day's daily floor. A non-trading withdrawal lowers it dollar-for-dollar, and a non-trading credit raises it by the same amount. The daily threshold is recalculated at the next reset.

The loss test uses equity, including unrealized profit and loss. Falling below either applicable floor closes the account permanently. Vest's loss-limit guide gives the underlying calculation.

Trading the 10% Target Account

A fixed dollar risk plan can be compared with the account's loss budget before opening positions. For illustration, a $50 planned trade loss is 0.5% of a $10,000 account and one-twelfth of its initial $600 maximum-loss allowance. That is an arithmetic example, not a position-sizing recommendation; execution costs and adverse fills can change the actual loss.

The account uses cross margin, so multiple positions contribute to the same equity and risk floors. Two correlated positions should therefore be assessed together rather than treated as separate accounts.

Vest Capital offers perpetual markets across several asset classes. Crypto trades through weekends; non-crypto markets have asset-specific locks during which open positions cannot be changed. API trading is unavailable on evaluation and funded program accounts.

What Happens After Qualification?

The selected 80% or 90% trader share carries into the funded stage, and Vest documents the same account-type loss rules continuing after evaluation. Reaching the evaluation target is separate from earning qualifying program compensation.

The documented Claim Profit process credits the Primary Account in 24 hours. External withdrawal then transfers USDC from the Primary Account to a supported wallet network. Read the full Vest Markets review for that process and the trading-fee schedule.

The prop terms, updated 6 October 2026, define the accounts as simulated. A funded-stage designation does not mean that the participant receives custody of a live capital balance.

10% Target or 20% Target?

The 10% choice requires half the percentage gain of the 20% option. For a $10,000 account with a 3% daily limit and 80% share, the 10% target fee is $72 after discount, compared with $45 for the 20% target.

The $27 lower fee for the 20% setting comes with a $2,000 goal instead of $1,000; both retain the $600 initial maximum-loss allowance. Compare those objectives in the higher-target 1-Step guide.

If the main priority is the purchase fee rather than one evaluation stage, the 2-Step guide explains a third route. Its $10,000 fee is $31.50 after discount, with a 10% goal followed by a separate 5% goal.
