Quick answer: Breakout Prop's evaluation rules explicitly restrict account sharing and trading multiple accounts from the same household, device or IP address. Two traders should not assume separate logins make a shared setup permissible. A separate permission to hold multiple evaluations needs to be read alongside that restriction.

Verified coupon code COMPARE saves 5% on eligible Breakout Prop evaluation base fees. See the current Breakout Prop offer. Official policies and standard-plan prices checked 10 October 2026.

Read the household rule before purchasing

Item 11 of the evaluation prohibited-practices FAQ names account access, household, device and IP. These are distinct facts to review. The published wording does not provide a general exception for relatives, roommates or traders who use separate computers at the same address.

This guide addresses evaluation access. For travel and country eligibility, use the separate Breakout Prop location guide. A country's eligibility does not resolve who may operate an account from a shared connection.

Multiple accounts and multiple people raise different questions

The multiple-evaluations FAQ permits purchasing more than one evaluation. The Program Rules go further: they allow simultaneous trading of evaluations within $200,000 in combined active nominal sizes, while keeping other rules applicable to each account.

Those same Program Rules repeat the household, device and IP restriction. The reviewed wording leaves its application to permitted own-account setups unclear. This article cannot resolve that tension by inventing a shared-network exemption. Ask official support to explain how both provisions apply to the actual arrangement.

Proposed setupWhat needs attention
One trader operating several personally held evaluationsPublished multiple-account permission and the separate access wording
Two traders using accounts from one householdThe explicit household restriction, even when logins differ
Another person signing in to operate an existing accountThe account-sharing prohibition

The Breakout Prop allocation guide covers sizes and independent loss limits. Staying below an allocation cap does not answer the access question.

Keep account control with the named trader

The Evaluation Agreement prohibits credential sharing, describes the trader as acting for their own account, and makes dashboard access non-transferable. It also prohibits assigning the agreement's rights and obligations.

Consequently, handing an existing login to a spouse, friend or paid operator is not a published way to transfer the evaluation. The account holder's personal consent does not remove the agreement's restrictions. This does not establish a separate rule about who may fund a purchase; payment ownership would require its own verified answer.

Ask a precise access question

Before relying on an unclear setup, prepare a short factual description for the official support channel:

  • Who owns each account and who would execute its trades
  • Whether the accounts are evaluations or funded accounts
  • Which devices or connections would be shared
  • Whether anyone else would ever receive account access

Include the two relevant policy links and ask how they apply together. Keep passwords, authentication codes and unnecessary identity documents out of the message. Save the exact question and response together so a later answer is not detached from its facts.

Do not use a different connection or another identity to conceal the arrangement. A technical login succeeding is not evidence that the setup meets the rules. A support request also does not itself establish an exception.

Frequently Asked Questions

No blanket household permission is stated. Multiple evaluations are permitted, but the Program Rules also contain a household, device and IP restriction. Ask how both provisions apply to the actual ownership and access setup.

The evaluation FAQ separately names household, device and IP. Separate hardware alone is therefore not an explicit exception to its household wording.

The Evaluation Agreement prohibits sharing credentials and makes dashboard access non-transferable. Personal consent from the account holder does not remove those restrictions.

At the listed $65 standard base fee, verified code COMPARE saves 5%, or $3.25, for a calculated $61.75 base fee. Optional and separately applicable charges are excluded.
