Code: AUDIT
Holding permission and profit treatment are different questions
The weekend-holding FAQ permits carrying positions over the weekend. The specific weekend-gap policy adds the Friday/Monday review condition and funded-profit removal. It describes that adjustment itself as neither a violation nor a reason for penalties or account termination.
That distinction matters when reconciling a payout. A position can be permitted to remain open while its resulting profit is treated differently. “My platform allowed the order” therefore does not establish that the full displayed result is eligible for a reward.
The time intervals are expressed in market hours, not a universal local-clock appointment. Use the relevant instrument's actual session schedule and platform time zone. Holidays, early closes and server-time differences are reasons to confirm the window rather than reuse a remembered clock time.
Record both ends of the trade
A practical review record needs the opening and closing timestamps. Marking a trade simply “held over weekend” does not identify whether it falls within the two-window condition.
As an original illustration, label a hypothetical market close C and reopening O. An entry at C minus two hours and exit at O plus one hour falls within both described intervals. An entry earlier in the week does not match that particular entry condition, but it is not a blanket exemption from other rules or reviews.
This is a way to classify records, not a strategy for avoiding oversight. The firm's policy also prohibits entering solely to exploit the reopening gap. Do not turn the table into instructions for timing trades just outside a review boundary.
Keep adjusted profit separate from raw trading results
Suppose a hypothetical funded statement shows $850 in trading profit before review, of which $250 is attributed to a reviewed weekend-gap trade. If that $250 is removed, recognized profit becomes $600 before other applicable calculations. Applying an 80% illustrative share to $850 would produce $680; applying it to $600 produces $480. Neither number is a final payment quotation because other conditions and charges can apply.
The point is the order of operations: establish the recognized amount before estimating the trader's share. A coupon saving belongs in the purchase-cost ledger and should not be used to offset an excluded trade in the reward ledger.
For account-specific caps and deductions, see the Standard payout-cap guide. This article focuses on identifying the trade records that may need adjustment, rather than repeating the full payout calculation.
Other rules remain independent
The 2-Step Standard model page describes its own evaluation targets, loss limits and funded qualifying days. Weekend-holding permission does not suspend those requirements. An account must remain compliant while a position is open, including through a gap or volatile reopening.
Before carrying exposure, check the instrument's session availability, applicable financing or holding costs, current loss room and the account agreement. Those checks address trading risk; the gap-review ledger addresses profit recognition. Neither replaces the other.
Do not infer that the absence of an immediate account termination means a displayed gain will be paid unchanged. Conversely, do not describe the policy's specified profit adjustment as automatic termination when its own wording says otherwise.
Current Standard fees after AUDIT
The official GOAT Funded Trader selector supplies regular purchase fees for the selected model. The 45% coupon leaves 55% of that base fee:
The table excludes profit-share additions, platform adjustments, taxes and other separate costs. Do not combine AUDIT with another advertised reduction unless the final order explicitly supports that combination. A regular $90 fee receives one $40.50 reduction, producing $49.50.
Before requesting a funded reward
- Export or retain the trade history with full timestamps.
- Match each relevant weekend trade to the actual market schedule.
- Record its opening and closing windows separately.
- Keep raw profit, review adjustments and recognized profit in different fields.
- Ask support about ambiguous partial exits, holiday sessions or the assigned policy.
- Reconcile the recognized total before applying the account's payout conditions.
