Funded Futures Family Profit Target, Drawdown and Daily Loss Explained

  • Profit target: Velocity 6.67%–10%; Premier+ 6%; Prime 5%–6%; S2F has payout goals instead of evaluation
  • Maximum loss: $750–$4,750 depending on plan, drawdown option and size
  • Drawdown calculation: eod_trailing
  • Daily loss: None on current plans
  • Minimum days: 1–3 to pass evaluations; S2F skips evaluation
  • Consistency: Traders must use the evaluation or payout percentage attached to the exact account type; exceeding an objective normally extends qualification unless the agreement calls it a breach.

A trader should calculate the real risk allowance from the maximum-loss amount, not the advertised nominal account balance. End-of-day trailing drawdown moves from closed daily highs, intraday trailing can move with open equity, and static drawdown stays fixed. These models produce very different trade-sizing requirements.

Funded Futures Family Payout Eligibility Checklist

Before requesting a payout, confirm all of the following:

  • The account is above its required buffer or safety-net balance.
  • The minimum trading or profitable-day count is complete.
  • The largest winning day is within the account's payout consistency percentage.
  • New profit since the previous payout meets the minimum.
  • The request is within the account-size minimum and maximum cap.
  • All positions and pending orders are closed.
  • KYC, account ownership and payout-provider checks are complete.
  • No prohibited strategy, cross-account hedge, account sharing or market-data exploitation occurred.

Detailed Funded Futures Family Verdict

Funded Futures Family (FFF) offers four distinct futures funding routes: Velocity, Premier+, Prime and Straight-to-Funded. It is strongest for traders who want no daily loss limit, a 90% split and a choice between intraday drawdown, EOD drawdown or skipping evaluation. The plan names matter because payout consistency, qualifying days, buffers, contract scaling and per-request caps are different on every route.

Rules checked against the official FFF website and Help Center on August 20, 2026.

  • Three minimum trading days and 40% evaluation consistency.
  • Standard funded payout cycle: three qualifying days, 40% consistency and the size-specific profit goal.
  • A qualifying day requires at least $200 realized profit.
  • Daily Payout Add-On removes funded consistency and the minimum-day requirement, but not the cycle profit goal.
  • Standard caps: $750, $1,250, $2,250 and $3,250.
  • Daily add-on caps: $600, $1,000, $1,500 and $2,500.

Premier+

Premier+ offers Fast Pass or Standard and lets traders choose intraday or EOD drawdown.

  • Fast Pass: one-day pass and no consistency in evaluation or funded.
  • Standard: at least two days and 50% consistency in evaluation only.
  • No funded consistency and no traditional payout buffer.
  • Five qualifying $200 days per payout cycle.
  • After a payout, the account must generate at least $1 in new net profit and complete the new qualifying-day cycle.

Drawdown and Breach Rules

Intraday trailing drawdown follows the highest real-time account value, including open profit. EOD drawdown moves only from the highest closing balance. Reaching the applicable maximum drawdown is the hard breach.

Current plans have no separate daily loss limit. A large single-day loss can therefore breach the maximum drawdown directly. Intraday Velocity is more sensitive than EOD plans because unrealized profit can lift its loss floor.

All current plans use a 90/10 split. Approved payouts are commonly sent to Rise within hours and are guaranteed within 24 hours after approval, subject to completed verification and compliance review. Per-request caps and the $100,000 total simulated-stage payout cap apply.

Consistency is largest winning day divided by total cycle profit. Exceeding the percentage does not close the account; the trader must make additional profit until the ratio qualifies.

Trading Conditions

  • News trading is allowed, including major scheduled releases.
  • Overnight positions are allowed while the futures market remains open.
  • Positions must be flat by 4:15 PM ET for the daily market break and can reopen after 6:00 PM ET.
  • Weekend holding is prohibited.
  • Manual scalping and micro contracts are allowed, but more than half of trades should be held longer than 10 seconds.
  • Copy-trading bots are prohibited.
  • Account sharing, HFT, latency arbitrage, group hedging, coordinated opposite positions and exploitation of simulated fills are prohibited.
  • Traders must comply with each product's position limits and the funded scaling ladder.

Platforms, Markets and Costs

FFF supports Tradovate, TradingView and NinjaTrader through Tradovate, plus WealthCharts. Rithmic is used for traders migrated to live infrastructure. Permitted CME futures include equity indices, energy, metals and agricultural products.

Evaluation resets are unlimited under the current policy. Up to three funded resets are available per account at the published reset price. Purchases, subscriptions, resets and add-ons are generally non-refundable.

Account Limits, Scaling and Live Progression

A trader may hold up to five active funded accounts across all FFF plans combined. Funded accounts start with reduced contract limits and scale from end-of-day realized profit. The scale ranges from 1 mini / 10 micros on a new $25K account to 15 minis / 150 micros after the $150K threshold is reached.

FFF can migrate qualified traders from simulated funded to professional or live infrastructure after risk review. Live terms, data feed and permitted size can differ from the simulated stage.

Country Restrictions and Compliance

Evaluation and funded accounts are simulated. KYC is required for individuals, KYB for companies and the trader's Rise payout account must be verified. Country, identity, household and payment-provider restrictions apply.

Who Funded Futures Family Is Best For

Velocity suits traders prioritizing the shortest payout cycle and comfortable with intraday trailing drawdown. Premier+ Fast Pass is the cleanest no-consistency path. Prime suits traders who prefer EOD drawdown and a three-day payout cycle. S2F is for experienced traders willing to accept 25% consistency to skip evaluation.

Final Review

Funded Futures Family offers unusually broad plan choice, but the easiest evaluation is not always the easiest funded account. Premier+ is the simplest payout structure, Velocity is the fastest with its add-on, Prime is the most conventional EOD route, and S2F carries the strictest consistency. Compare the funded rules, not only the purchase discount.
