Quick answer: Legion Funding's 2-Step funded account limits risk per symbol to 2% of the initial balance across combined exposure. Splitting a trade into several tickets does not give each ticket its own allowance. On a $25K account the reference is $500 per symbol, alongside separate account loss rules. Use COMPARE for 5% off the account purchase fee.

Checked: 5 October 2026. The Legion offer supplies the discount. This guide explains exposure management after 2-Step funding; the Fast Track activation guide covers a different purchase route.

Why several small tickets can still be too much

Legion's terms, sections 8 and 10 specify combined symbol exposure. The assessment may include stop-loss risk, floating loss, open and closed positions and correlated order sequences. The rule is broader than checking one order in isolation.

Consider a hypothetical $25K funded account with two positions on the same symbol. If their potential losses are $180 and $170, the simple combined reference is $350. Adding a third position with $200 potential loss produces $550, exceeding the $500 reference. Calling the third order a separate setup does not create a new account allowance.

Illustrative same-symbol positionsCombined reference riskComparison with $500
$180 + $170$350$150 below
$180 + $170 + $100$450$50 below
$180 + $170 + $200$550$50 above

These are simplified pre-trade calculations. Costs, execution changes and the firm's broader exposure assessment can make actual measured risk different. Operating exactly at a maximum leaves no practical room for that difference.

Current 2-Step purchase prices

The official trading-objectives page lists the base fees below. Applying COMPARE once gives the calculated purchase cost.

PlanSizeRegular USD feeCodeDiscountSavingsCalculated final fee
2-Step$5,000$35.00COMPARE5%$1.75$33.25
2-Step$10,000$69.00COMPARE5%$3.45$65.55
2-Step$25,000$169.00COMPARE5%$8.45$160.55

The price calculation is $169 × 0.95 = $160.55 for $25K. Optional fees and payment charges are separate. The full Legion coupon guide compares other models, but their risk-per-symbol rules should not be copied onto 2-Step.

Passing and funded eligibility remain separate

The 2-Step specification sets evaluation targets of 8% and 5%, three qualifying days per phase, and funded requirements including five qualifying days. A qualifying day needs 0.5% realized profit. Daily and maximum loss limits are 4% and 10%.

On the illustrated $25K size, the phase targets are $2,000 and $1,250 in separate stages; the qualifying-day reference is $125. The initial daily and overall amounts are $1,000 and $2,500. Neither increases the $500 funded symbol-risk reference.

For example, $300 realized profit on one day is more than the $125 threshold, but it is still one day. A day counter and cumulative profit answer different questions. Use the account's actual dashboard for its stage and compliance status.

Keep an exposure ledger

A useful personal ledger records symbol, entry, quantity, stop, estimated loss, actual floating loss and remaining account headroom. Recalculate after a partial close, an additional entry or a stop change. Preserve the closed-trade history as well; do not assume closing and immediately reopening erases how an order sequence is assessed.

The purpose is to see the account as a whole. Two strategies running on the same instrument can unintentionally overlap even when each has its own trading journal. Review them together before adding exposure.

Execution and reward checks

The terms require each funded trade to last at least one minute, and the relevant funded news window restricts openings and closures five minutes either side, including triggered orders. Those conditions should be planned before entry. Do not interpret an exposure calculation as permission to ignore another rule.

The payout help page describes an 80% share, $100 minimum and typical processing of one to three business days. On-demand describes request availability subject to conditions, not guaranteed instant delivery. The Legion review explains the wider program.
