Legion Funding Weekend Closure + Coupon Code COMPARE
OCT 9
2026

Quick answer: Legion Funding prohibits weekend trading and holding across evaluation, Instant, Fast Track and funded accounts. Remaining positions are automatically closed at the prevailing market price, but the trader remains responsible for being flat before the weekend. Plan the exit before the final session, then verify the actual fills.
Verified code: COMPARE gives 5% off eligible Forex account purchases. See the current Legion offer. It does not create a weekend-holding exception. Official rules and the regular price checked 9 October 2026; the discounted example is calculated.
Overnight permission stops at the weekend boundary
Legion's overnight guide permits holding across weekday sessions while the other trading rules remain satisfied. Its dedicated weekend policy applies to every account model, explicitly including evaluations.
That distinction matters before choosing a strategy. A position intended to remain open for thirty-six hours can fit entirely inside a trading week or run through the weekend, depending on its entry time. A label such as swing trading does not answer which of those two situations the actual plan creates.
For example, compare a hypothetical position opened early Wednesday with one opened late Friday. The intended holding duration is identical, but the available session time is different. Record the planned exit relative to the instrument's actual closing schedule instead of assuming that every overnight hold is permitted.
Obtain the session time for the specific symbol
The public weekend article does not publish one universal cutoff timestamp for every instrument. This guide therefore does not invent a Friday UTC deadline. Check the current platform session information and any firm notice for the symbol being traded, especially around holidays or daylight-saving changes.
A useful planning row has the instrument, account stage, displayed server time, relevant session end, local-time conversion and intended earlier exit. Keep the source and date of the schedule so a later review can explain why a particular cutoff was used.
These are operational record fields, not an official extra-minute grace period. Leaving time for execution problems is a personal precaution; it does not alter the firm's deadline.
Automatic closure is a fallback with execution consequences
The weekend policy says its system closes remaining trades at the prevailing market price and records the closures in trading history. It places responsibility for resulting price movement and slippage on the trader. An automatic-close mechanism should therefore not be treated as an order guaranteeing a chosen profit or loss.
Consider an original arithmetic example. A position snapshot shows an unrealized $140 gain, but the eventual exit produces $105 before other charges. The difference is $35. The journal must record the actual close rather than preserving the earlier snapshot as the realized result. The example does not estimate likely slippage or claim a particular platform execution quality.
The same reconciliation applies to a losing position. A displayed loss immediately before closing is an observation at that moment, not a guaranteed final amount. Costs and the executed price should be checked after the trade finishes.
Review all accounts and orders before logging out
Build a position inventory by account identifier, not only by instrument. Closing EUR/USD in one evaluation does not prove that the same symbol is flat in another account. Verify each account's actual position quantity and the final status of close orders.
Also inspect resting orders that could create exposure before the session ends. The public weekend guide does not spell out a universal pending-order cancellation procedure, so do not claim that its automatic close necessarily deletes every pending instruction. Check the platform state and ask support if an order's treatment is unclear.
A submitted close request can still be pending, rejected or only partially filled. The evidence that matters is the final execution and remaining position, not the fact that the button was pressed. Save a dated export or final account snapshot when useful, without placing passwords or sensitive credentials into a shared journal.
Account for other timing rules before opening late
The minimum-duration policy distinguishes the general evaluation average from a one-minute minimum on each funded trade. The funded news policy can also restrict entries and exits around relevant releases.
A late entry can create conflicting practical deadlines if its intended holding period extends into a closure or a restricted news interval. Check those constraints before entering. Do not remove protective orders or hold an unsafe losing position merely to satisfy a timer.
The news-window guide and duration guide explain those separate tests. This weekend checklist adds a session-close obligation that applies even to evaluations exempt from the funded news restriction.
Purchase cost does not buy a holding exception
The current official selector displays the $5K 2-Step base at $35. The row below applies the verified COMPARE rate once, in USD.
This single current price example does not quote every model or size. Optional services, taxes and payment conversion are outside the calculation. Select the actual account, apply COMPARE and inspect its full invoice before payment.
The 2-Step specification separately defines targets, drawdown and qualifying days. A final weekly close can change the realized result used by those checks, so reconcile the account after closing rather than relying on an earlier open-profit estimate.
A practical Friday finish
Confirm the symbol schedule, finish any planned exposure changes early enough for ordinary execution, reconcile every account, inspect working orders and save the final realized record. If something remains unresolved, use official support and report the actual state instead of assuming the automatic system has completed the task.
