Legion Funding's permission to use an EA does not mean a third-party trading robot or copied signal is approved. Its current terms limit third-party EAs to trade-management or risk-management functions and separately restrict copied trading. Review what the software actually does before connecting it. Verified code COMPARE gives 5% off covered purchase fees.

Official rules and prices checked 11 October 2026. The current Legion offer provides the owner-confirmed coupon. Prices below are calculated from the official 2-Step selector.

Code: COMPARE

Read the detailed permission behind the EA headline

The trading-objectives page describes manual, EA and systematic trading, while explicitly prohibiting copy trading and several exploitative practices. Section 17 of the current terms narrows third-party EAs to management tools that comply with all account rules. Signal copying, mirror trading, outside account-management software and unauthorized bots are prohibited.

Treat those statements together. A broad technology label describes how an order might be handled, but does not approve every source of a trading decision. If a vendor's program independently chooses entries from its own shared strategy, do not assume it is equivalent to a calculator that helps manage a position you selected.

This guide does not decide whether a particular self-created strategy is approved. Give the firm a precise functional description when published wording does not answer your setup. A response about one configuration should not be silently extended to a different tool, version or account model.

Separate the entry decision from order management

A practical review begins with a simple question: who or what decided to take this trade? Then trace what happens after that decision. The same software package may include both an ordinary position-sizing panel and a signal-execution module.

Hypothetical functionWhat to clarify before using it
Calculate quantity from a stop distanceWhether it only calculates or also creates entries
Move a stop on an existing positionWhen it sends changes and how failed changes are reported
Import a vendor's signalWhether it constitutes prohibited external copying
Mirror a second accountWhether prior written permission is required for that exact source
Let an outside operator manage tradesAccount ownership and third-party access restrictions

The table is an editorial review aid, not a whitelist. A product name cannot resolve the functional distinction. Turn off unused functions only if doing so genuinely changes the behavior, and obtain clarification rather than disguising a prohibited strategy as a manager.

Do not assume own-account copying is automatically allowed

Section 9 of the terms restricts copying from another person, account, signal provider or external source unless Legion gives prior written approval. The wording does not provide a blanket exception merely because the source account belongs to the same trader. Official copying restriction.

For an uncertain setup, describe the source account, destination, signal origin and exact copying function. Ask whether that specific arrangement is authorized. Do not import another prop firm's copying permissions into Legion's program, and do not regard the ability to connect software as approval to use it.

If a trader already uses several firms, maintain a separate permission record for each. An identical computer setup can produce different compliance outcomes under different agreements. Keep credentials out of that record; use descriptive account labels and official support references instead.

Account-level risk still applies to management software

The 2-Step model guide gives funded accounts a 2% per-symbol risk limit, a one-minute minimum trade duration and separate daily and overall loss limits. A management tool must operate inside those conditions. Permission to adjust an order does not create extra loss capacity.

Consider a hypothetical $25K funded account. A 2% reference equals $500. If two tools independently prepare same-symbol exposures of $300 and $250, their simple combined total is $550. Reviewing each tool in isolation would miss the overlap. The existing symbol-risk guide explains the firm's broader exposure assessment.

An automated exit can also conflict with a timing requirement even when the position size was reasonable. Review the manager's break-even, partial-close and emergency-close behavior before deployment. Do not hold an unsafe trade solely to protect a duration statistic; the initial trading plan must accommodate the relevant restrictions.

Test intention against actual platform state

A sensible operational record separates a requested action from a confirmed action. For example, a manager may request a stop change, but the platform can reject it. A local display saying “protected” is less useful than checking the actual order field and execution log.

Record the version, enabled functions, important settings and any unexpected behavior. After an update, compare the changed functions with the previously reviewed configuration. A new signal module or automatic sizing rule may materially change what the software does, even if the product keeps the same name.

Keep enough ordinary trade history to explain your decisions. The terms permit tool and strategy review and require personal account control. Never provide a software seller with your password or permission to trade the account as a shortcut to troubleshooting.

Current 2-Step fees after COMPARE

The official objectives selector currently lists these USD base fees. The purchase discount does not cover software services or remove trading restrictions.

PlanSizeRegular feeCodeDiscountSavingsCalculated final fee

2-Step$10,000$69.00COMPARE5%$3.45$65.55
2-Step$25,000$169.00COMPARE5%$8.45$160.55

Final base fee equals regular fee multiplied by 0.95. Taxes, conversion charges, optional services and later payments are excluded. Do not combine the code with another advertised reduction unless the order expressly permits it.

Apply the code after resolving software eligibility

  1. Choose the intended Legion model and size.
  2. Resolve any uncertainty about the actual automation or copying setup.
  3. Enter COMPARE at checkout and apply the 5% purchase reduction.
  4. Review the complete invoice and retain the account rules.

Read the Legion review for program context and the duration guide for evaluation-versus-funded timing.
