Quick answer: The5ers Futures currently permits no more than one mini or ten micro contracts overnight on its $25K and $50K Swing accounts. A larger daytime allowance does not carry through the close. Reduce exposure in time, review pending entries and flatten completely before the Friday deadline because weekend holding is prohibited.

Code: AUDIT

Official facts and prices checked: 7 October 2026. This guide develops a pre-close position-reduction process for Swing. The5ers' CFD products have different rules and are outside its scope.

Current Swing fees and the seasonal price label

The official Futures selector currently lists the $25K and $50K Swing choices under a Summer Plan Price label. These are current displayed purchase fees rather than a claim about the usual non-seasonal tariff. The table applies the recorded AUDIT offer once to the listed fee, conditional on checkout accepting that fee with the code.

Swing sizeCurrent listed Summer Plan fee USDCodeListed discountCalculated saving USDCalculated fee if accepted USD
$25,000$69.00AUDIT10%$6.90$62.10
$50,000$120.00AUDIT10%$12.00$108.00

Do not add a second seasonal or public-code reduction. If checkout does not allow AUDIT against the displayed seasonal fee, use its actual discount and total rather than treating the calculated row as a guaranteed stacked offer. No separate activation fee is listed. Taxes, currency conversion, trading costs and separately priced options are excluded.

The overnight ceiling is the same on both listed sizes

The official overnight contract-limit article, updated 30 September 2026, identifies the same overnight maximum for $25K and $50K: one mini or ten micros.

The holding policy requires larger positions to close at least ten minutes before market close. Swing permits overnight exposure within the limit; Day Trade requires positions closed and pending orders canceled. Both programs prohibit weekend holding, with all positions closed at least ten minutes before Friday's close.

Account and sessionPlanning limit relevant to this guide
$25K Swing, overnightAt most 1 mini or 10 micros
$50K Swing, overnightAt most 1 mini or 10 micros
Either Swing size, Friday closeNo weekend position
Day Trade, any daily closeNo overnight position

Increasing the account size from $25K to $50K therefore does not, by itself, double overnight contract permission. Confirm the current rules again after any scaling event rather than assuming the overnight cap rises with a daytime tier.

Plan the reduction before the deadline arrives

Use three quantities in the pre-close check: current filled exposure, intended overnight exposure and working orders that could add exposure. The third category matters because reducing an open position can be undone if an old entry order later fills.

The following examples assume a Swing account, a single instrument and fully filled positions. They illustrate reductions only; they do not establish permission for a particular strategy or mixed-symbol portfolio.

Current positionIntended overnight positionMinimum reduction to reach that intention
2 minis1 miniClose 1 mini
16 micros10 microsClose 6 micros
16 micros6 microsClose 10 micros
7 micros7 microsNo quantity reduction, subject to all other rules
Any open position before Friday cutoffFlatClose the whole position

A trader can choose less than the maximum. The limit is a ceiling, not a reason to increase a smaller position just before the session ends.

Verify the fill, not merely the submitted order

Suppose 16 micros are open and an order is sent to close six. If only four close, 12 remain. The instruction was appropriate, but the resulting position is still above the ten-micro ceiling. Read the filled quantity and resulting position rather than treating an order acknowledgment as completion.

If a separate buy order for four micros remains working after the position reaches ten, a later fill could increase exposure again. Review entry orders and the behavior of any attached bracket after reducing size. Protective orders should match the actual remaining position and the platform's current order behavior.

These are practical operational checks. They are not a claim that every order type behaves identically or that the public Futures policy documents every possible mixed-order situation.

Use the contract's real calendar instead of a fixed local alarm

The official policy expresses its deadline relative to market close and also prints a clock-time example. For the actual instrument and date, verify the relevant close, shortened sessions and platform timezone. Do not reuse a local alarm without checking daylight-saving changes or a holiday schedule.

Set a personal preparation time early enough to inspect and adjust exposure, then verify the final position before the firm's cutoff. A reminder at the deadline itself leaves little room for partial fills, an interrupted connection or an unexpected order state. The useful record is the confirmed position at the required time.

For Friday, the intended outcome is flat even if an ordinary weekday position could have remained overnight. The official program description describes Swing's multi-day permission within its contract limits; it does not remove the separate weekend restriction.

A compliant quantity still needs a loss-budget check

One mini can represent substantial price exposure. The permitted count alone says nothing about whether the remaining drawdown room can absorb the planned stop, costs or adverse execution. Check the current account threshold and the instrument specification before deciding to hold overnight.

The ES versus MES sizing guide explains contract-value arithmetic separately. This guide adds the session transition: the quantity that worked during the day must be reconsidered before the overnight permission begins.

For mixed mini/micro positions or several symbols, obtain the firm's current interpretation rather than assuming opposite positions net against one another or that each instrument has its own full overnight allowance. The published one-mini/ten-micro wording does not settle every mixed-portfolio case.

Apply AUDIT and retain the purchase configuration

  1. Follow the current Futures offer to the official site.
  2. Select Swing, the intended size and the displayed purchase configuration.
  3. Apply AUDIT and verify its accepted reduction and the final amount.
  4. Save the fee label, receipt and overnight rules attached to the account.

The The5ers Futures review provides wider program context. See the inactivity and session checklist for the separate account-activity clock.

Frequently Asked Questions

The current official limit is one mini or ten micros for both $25K and $50K Swing accounts. Check the current rule and dashboard before holding.

No. The current overnight-limit article gives both sizes the same one-mini or ten-micro maximum.

No. All positions must be closed at least ten minutes before Friday market close under the published holding policy.

No. Verify its fills and the remaining position. A partial fill or a later working-entry fill can leave more exposure than intended.

The current official selector labels them Summer Plan prices. The AUDIT calculations are conditional on checkout accepting the code against that listed fee, without assuming another stacked discount.
