TradeDay Live and Sim Separation + Promo Code AUDIT
OCT 6
2026
Quick answer: TradeDay does not allow an open Funded Live position at the same time as an open Evaluation or Funded Sim position. Turning off a copier does not remove that restriction. Plan the change between account groups before submitting another order.
Verified code: AUDIT. Save 55% on the covered initial evaluation fee. See the current TradeDay offer for the purchase scope.
Code: AUDIT
Facts checked: 6 October 2026. Prices are USD. This site may earn a commission from referred purchases. Evaluation fees buy access to a trading program; passing and payouts are not guaranteed.
Identify the account stage before the trading window
TradeDay’s multiple-account and copier policy distinguishes account ownership, copier permissions and simultaneous positions. It allows up to ten accounts overall, with stage-specific maxima, one username and one user per household. Evaluation and Funded Sim accounts can share a permitted copier group; Funded Live accounts have their own group of up to five. Live positions must not overlap with Evaluation or Sim positions, even with manual execution.
That summary establishes the policy. The practical issue is how to avoid an unintended overlap when moving between screens. Our TradeDay review explains the products; the workflow below addresses that operating question.
Build an account-stage map
Use one row per account with its identifier, current stage, intended platform and whether it has open positions or working entry orders. Keep the map private and exclude passwords. The goal is to identify what a pending order could do after attention moves elsewhere.
A tab label is not a sufficient control if it was created before a stage transition. Update labels when new credentials or a new account are issued. This is a suggested workflow, not an additional TradeDay rule.
A switching example
Imagine a trader finishes an Evaluation session, leaves a limit entry working and opens the Live workspace. There may be no Evaluation position at that instant, but the old entry could fill later. A check that looks only at open positions would miss that possibility.
A more complete handover reviews both positions and working orders. Cancel unneeded entries, confirm their final status, reconcile any fills and only then evaluate whether the next account group can be used. Do not assume that closing a window cancels server-held orders.
Now consider the reverse. A Live position remains open while the trader manually enters a Sim order without a copier. The policy’s condition concerns the overlapping positions. Different applications or manual buttons do not change the account stages involved.
Keep quantity checks separate from group checks
A permitted group can still contain an account with a smaller position allowance. Group permission, contract count and remaining loss room are different checks. A copier setup should not inherit a leader’s larger order size without considering each destination.
Our Fast Pass contract-scaling guide covers stage-specific sizing. Review it when an account changes stage rather than relying on a previously saved template. The session and news-window guide covers another independent constraint: when orders may be traded or held.
Initial account fees with AUDIT
The official TradeDay selector shows the following regular $50K monthly evaluation prices. The table applies the verified AUDIT offer to those base prices, rather than applying a second discount to the website’s separate promotional prices.
For example, $189 multiplied by 0.45 is $85.05. These are initial evaluation-payment calculations, not a promise that the same coupon applies to future renewals, resets or optional services. The selector advertises no activation fee. Taxes and separately charged items are outside the table.
Buying more accounts increases the fee commitment without removing the stage-separation rule. Before adding an account, decide how it would fit into the trading schedule and which existing group it belongs to. The inexpensive first payment is only one part of that decision.
A session handover checklist
- Confirm which account stage is currently being traded.
- Reconcile positions in every account in that group.
- Review working entries and cancel those no longer intended.
- Wait for confirmed order status rather than assuming a cancel succeeded.
- Check the destination account’s identifier and stage.
- Review quantity and loss limits before preparing a new order.
- Save a brief record if a technical problem leaves the state uncertain.
If the actual execution state cannot be established, resolve it with the platform and support before adding exposure. A screenshot of a closed chart is weaker evidence than an account’s position and order records.
Redeem the coupon before configuring accounts
Choose the program and size on TradeDay, enter AUDIT before payment and review the initial discounted fee alongside recurring terms. Keep the invoice and account details. Then configure the trading workspace using the actual issued account stage, not the stage expected when ordering.
This guide is about operational separation, not a trading strategy or a guarantee against account breaches. The active coupon can reduce the covered purchase fee; each account still needs its own risk and compliance checks.
