Quick answer: Budget TradeDay data by account stage and exchange count. Level 1 is included in evaluation and Funded Sim. Funded Live introduces professional exchange charges, while optional Level 2 has a calendar-month purchase window. The cheapest evaluation checkout does not establish the later data bill.

Verified code: AUDIT. The current TradeDay offer lists 55% off covered evaluation fees. This article applies that discount once to the initial monthly fee; it does not discount exchange data.

Code: AUDIT

Facts checked: 7 October 2026. All amounts USD. Compare Futures Prop may earn a commission from referred purchases. Simulated results and evaluation completion do not guarantee payouts or a live placement. Futures trading involves substantial risk.

Separate three different bills

The official market-data guide includes Level 1 for evaluations and Funded Sim. It prices professional Funded Live data at $156 monthly per exchange and optional Level 2 for Tradovate/NinjaTrader-connected platforms at $49 per calendar month.

Cost categoryWhen it mattersHow to record it
Evaluation subscriptionUntil passing or cancellationAccount renewal date and actual next invoice
Optional Level 2 bundleWhen the strategy needs depth dataCalendar month purchased and expiry
Professional exchange dataFunded LiveRequired exchanges and itemized monthly bill

TradeDay's funded-fee policy says evaluation subscription payments stop when funded, with no activation fee. Live commissions come out of the trading account; professional data is charged to the payment card. It separately lists a $2 monthly Tradovate processing charge.

Keep card expenses and account-deducted commissions in different columns. Otherwise a cost spreadsheet can subtract commissions twice or omit the data bill altogether.

Count exchanges before multiplying the fee

The published unit is an exchange, not a chart, symbol or contract. Two instruments may belong to the same exchange; a second exchange can create a new subscription cost. Confirm each intended product using TradeDay's permitted-product list linked from its data guide.

These are original arithmetic examples using $156 per exchange:

Required exchangesProfessional data subtotal/monthThree-month data subtotalSeparate processing allowance
1$156$468Check the listed $2 monthly charge
2$312$936Check the listed $2 monthly charge
3$468$1,404Check the listed $2 monthly charge
4$624$1,872Check the listed $2 monthly charge

The table does not multiply the $2 charge by exchange count because the source does not establish that treatment. It also does not multiply fees by the number of live accounts: confirm the actual account grouping and invoice instead of inventing a billing unit.

An original scope-change example

A trader initially budgets for one exchange, then adds products requiring a second exchange. The data subtotal rises by $156 per month, or $468 over three months. That is a recurring increase even if the extra market is traded only occasionally.

Before subscribing, write down the trading reason for each exchange and whether the existing strategy actually needs it. Removing a market from a watchlist does not prove its paid feed has been cancelled. Check the provider's active subscriptions and billing confirmation.

Level 2 uses a different calendar

TradeDay's guide says the Level 2 purchase expires at the end of the calendar month and must be purchased again for the next month. It does not describe a rolling thirty-day entitlement.

If a trader buys the $49 bundle on October 28 and needs it in November as well, the two published monthly charges total $98. Buying late in October does not, under that rule, carry the first payment through late November. This is a timing illustration, not a claim about refunds or proration.

The official explanation of market data distinguishes basic quotes and charts from order-book depth. Decide whether the method needs depth before adding a charge. Do not assume the $49 non-professional bundle replaces the professional live feed or can be stacked into a universal all-stage price.

Initial evaluation prices with AUDIT

The official TradeDay pricing page currently publishes these $50K regular monthly fees. They are separate from professional data.

Evaluation routeSizeRegular feeCodeDiscountSavingCalculated initial fee
QuickPay Intraday$50,000$131.00AUDIT55%$72.05$58.95
QuickPay EOD$50,000$175.00AUDIT55%$96.25$78.75
FastPass EOD$50,000$189.00AUDIT55%$103.95$85.05

The calculation is regular fee × 0.45. The homepage may advertise another promotion; this table uses the listed AUDIT rate without stacking. Future renewals, resets, tax, optional platforms and data upgrades are excluded.

A practical purchase and transition checklist

  1. Select the evaluation route, size and platform before applying AUDIT.
  2. Confirm the covered discount and next subscription terms on the order.
  3. During evaluation or Funded Sim, record whether optional depth is needed.
  4. At a live invitation, map the actual products to exchanges and request an itemized data quote.
  5. Confirm when each feed starts, how cancellation works and which payment account is charged.
  6. Reconcile the first live card statement separately from trading commissions.

The TradeDay review covers the overall program. The live/sim separation guide addresses account-stage operating restrictions. Neither a coupon nor an existing outside personal data subscription removes the need to verify the live data setup.
