Alpha Capital permits qualifying account merges, but purchasing two evaluations does not create an immediately mergeable account. The first checks are qualification status, matching type and platform, each account's balance, and the combined nominal allocation. A merge also has consequences for later scaling and the first biweekly withdrawal.

Verified codes: COMPARE50 gives 50% off the first Alpha Capital Forex/CFD purchase; COMPARE gives 30% off later purchases. Use the code for the relevant purchase; the offers are not stacked. Official account-policy and catalog sources reviewed 9 October 2026.

The official merge criteria

Alpha's merging guide says only Qualified Analyst accounts can merge. They must have the same type and platform, and both must be at their initial balances. The merged allocation cannot exceed $300,000. Accounts in profit or drawdown fail the balance requirement; Focused Trader Group accounts cannot merge.

The guide also states that merged accounts cannot scale, and scaled accounts cannot merge. Requests go through official support. Alpha asks traders to allow 24–48 business hours for processing. For a merged biweekly account, the first withdrawal requires 14 days after trading starts and at least five trading days. These conditions should be reviewed before requesting the change, rather than discovered after existing accounts are replaced.

Use an account-by-account worksheet

Create a row for each proposed account rather than looking only at the total displayed across the dashboard. Useful fields are account ID, exact plan, platform, stage, initial balance, current balance, special group status, scaling history and payout package.

The distinction between current balance and combined balance matters. Consider two hypothetical accounts that started at $50,000 and $100,000. If their current balances are $50,300 and $99,700, the combined figure is still $150,000. That apparent match hides two separate deviations of $300. A sum across the pair cannot substitute for checking each row individually.

Do not deliberately create losses to make a profitable account look ready. Do not assume a withdrawal will automatically put every eligibility field into the required state. When profit, fees, a pending withdrawal or a platform adjustment complicates the balance, ask support how the exact account should be handled before requesting a merge.

Test the allocation arithmetic separately

Here are simple planning examples, assuming that every non-size condition is independently satisfied:

Candidate combinationCombined nominal sizeComparison with the $300K merge ceiling
$50K + $100K$150,000$150,000 below the ceiling
$100K + $200K$300,000At the ceiling
$200K + $200K$400,000$100,000 above the ceiling

These calculations do not constitute approvals. Even the first row needs account-level review. The total also answers a different question from the firm's aggregate qualified allocation. The Alpha Pro documentation describes a $400,000 allocation across models; that wider allocation figure does not enlarge the permitted size of a single merged account.

A practical dashboard note should therefore keep two totals: the proposed merged size and the total allocation across all remaining accounts. Avoid replacing one number with the other because both happen to appear in Alpha's documentation.

Decide whether consolidation fits the goal

Write down what merging is meant to solve. Fewer accounts may simplify a personal tracking sheet, but that alone does not establish a better economic outcome. Compare the operational benefit with the treatment of scaling, the account's withdrawal calendar and the exact package support will create.

The official scaling explanation describes a separate growth process. A trader interested in that route should resolve the merge-versus-scale choice before sending an account-change request. This guide does not calculate hypothetical earnings from either option.

Questions worth settling in writing include:

  • Which exact accounts will be replaced, and which will remain independent?
  • What plan and payout package will the new account carry?
  • How will any pending request or adjustment be handled?
  • When may trading begin on the replacement account?
  • Which balance and limit values should appear after completion?

These are clarification questions, not claims that Alpha guarantees a particular answer. Save the response and the before-and-after account records.

Current purchase prices with both Alpha codes

The official Alpha Capital catalog currently publishes these Alpha Pro 6% biweekly base fees. This table concerns buying evaluations; it does not quote a merge fee or imply that a purchase will qualify for merging.

Plan and payout packageSizeRegular feeCodeDiscount scopeSavingFinal base fee
Alpha Pro 6%, biweekly$50,000$237.00COMPARE5050%, first purchase$118.50$118.50
Alpha Pro 6%, biweekly$50,000$237.00COMPARE30%, later purchase$71.10$165.90
Alpha Pro 6%, biweekly$100,000$427.00COMPARE5050%, first purchase$213.50$213.50
Alpha Pro 6%, biweekly$100,000$427.00COMPARE30%, later purchase$128.10$298.90

All amounts are USD, calculated from the regular catalog fee. Optional upgrades, taxes and conversion charges are excluded. The table applies one code to one eligible purchase; it does not assume that several accounts in a cart each receive a first-purchase discount.

For example, two later purchases at the listed $50K and $100K fees would total $464.80 after COMPARE. That is only a purchase budget. It does not include repeated attempts or establish the probability of passing both evaluations. Avoid buying an additional evaluation solely because a possible future merge makes the nominal balance look attractive.

Redemption and request checklist

  1. If buying, first select the exact evaluation, platform and payout package.
  2. Apply COMPARE50 for an eligible first purchase or COMPARE for a later purchase.
  3. Review the applied reduction and final payable amount before payment.
  4. If considering a merge later, complete the account-level worksheet using current qualified-account records.
  5. Resolve ambiguous balances, package details and timing with official support before submitting the merge request.
  6. After completion, reconcile the replacement account against the written response before resuming activity.

The Alpha Capital Group review provides the wider model comparison. Our scaling guide and Focused Trader review checklist cover those neighboring processes separately.

Limitations and disclosure

This is a preparation guide, not an account-change approval or a promise of funding, scaling or withdrawal eligibility. Alpha's accounts are virtual programs, and fees are at risk. Rules and checkout prices can change.

Compare Futures Prop may receive commission from qualifying links or coupon use. Review the official merge policy and the selected order independently; a discounted evaluation and a qualified-account merge are different decisions.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Alpha’s merge policy applies to eligible Qualified Analyst accounts. Buying a pair of evaluations does not make them mergeable.

No. It shows published evaluation purchase fees and separate first- or later-purchase coupon calculations.

No stacking is assumed. COMPARE50 is the 50% first-purchase offer; COMPARE is the 30% later-purchase offer.

A combined total can conceal offsetting profit and drawdown. Keep the original and current balance for each account, along with its plan, stage and platform.
