Claim Offer See offer detailsQuick answer: An existing Breakout Prop DXtrade account cannot be migrated to Breakout Terminal. The official policy keeps an account on the terminal for which it was purchased. Existing DXtrade evaluation and funded accounts remain supported to completion, while new purchases use Breakout Terminal. Verified promo code COMPARE gives 5% off eligible evaluation base fees.
Official sources checked: 8 October 2026. The active Breakout Prop offer lists verified code COMPARE for 5% off eligible evaluation base fees. Compare Futures Prop may earn a commission through offer links. A new purchase should be considered only if you actually want another evaluation.
Separate migration from the end of new DXtrade sales
The account-migration FAQ, dated 25 March 2026, explicitly says a DXtrade account cannot move to Breakout Terminal. Buying an account for another terminal is a separate purchase, rather than a transfer of the old assessment.
Breakout Prop's later DXtrade retirement announcement, published 7 July, stopped new DXtrade evaluation sales from 9 July 2026. It separately confirms continued support for existing evaluation and funded accounts. The sales cutoff therefore does not establish that a valid older account needs replacing.
If your only problem is access, a replacement purchase is a poor diagnostic tool. Record the exact error and ask official support about that specific account. An incorrect app, a login problem and an account-status issue can require different responses.
Match the app to the account
The mobile-app FAQ says the DXtrade and Breakout Terminal mobile applications are distinct and not interchangeable. Installing the newer application does not turn an older account into a Terminal account.
For a Terminal account, the official access instructions direct users through the Breakout dashboard's Open Terminal button. The retirement announcement links the official app-store downloads. Use those verified routes rather than an app advertisement or an unsolicited message offering migration help.
Before entering an order, check account identifier, stage, model and nominal balance. A familiar email address is insufficient to identify the selected assessment. The account-selection FAQ explains that purchases made with the same email can share login details and that Terminal accounts are selected through its dropdown or mobile menu.
Build a two-account record if you buy again
A practical transition worksheet should have one row for the existing account and another for the new one. Record platform, account identifier, purchased plan, current stage, balance, equity, open positions and working orders. Do not copy current risk figures from one row into the other.
For example, a hypothetical older account might have a $10,600 balance while a new $10,000 evaluation starts at $10,000. Seeing the lower figure in the new terminal is not, by itself, evidence that $600 disappeared. First confirm that the screen belongs to the newly purchased account rather than the existing one.
That example illustrates identity reconciliation, not a promise about any particular account history. Because direct migration is unsupported, do not assume existing progress, positions or records will appear in the new account. Retain the old account's relevant history before changing your working setup.
Avoid manually recreating exposure merely to make two screens look alike. An additional order creates additional risk. Opposing exposure across accounts also needs care: the multiple-evaluation FAQ expressly warns against cross-account hedging. A platform transition provides no exception to that restriction.
Review interface and charging differences
The terminal-comparison FAQ says the underlying account rules remain the same for the corresponding account, while interface and swap charging differ. That does not make different purchased models interchangeable. Read the rules attached to each account.
The Terminal swap-fee FAQ specifies six deductions per day, four hours apart, at approximately 0.0055% of open-position notional per interval. The total daily rate is 0.033%. Several ledger entries can therefore represent the stated daily rate divided across the day.
At an unchanged hypothetical $20,000 notional, each interval is approximately $1.10 and six intervals total $6.60. Actual deductions depend on held intervals, valuation and rounding. Compare the account's recorded charges with its own platform schedule, rather than assuming the timing must match DXtrade.
For orientation, the official Terminal walkthrough shows the portfolio panel, account switching, order confirmations and pending-order displays. Use the walkthrough to locate controls, then inspect current instrument settings in the live interface. Turning on confirmations during an unfamiliar workflow can help expose a wrong-account or wrong-quantity entry before submission.
New-purchase prices with COMPARE
These are standard 80% trader-share fees from the official Breakout Prop pricing page. They are new evaluations, not migration services or quoted fees to restore an existing account.
The calculated base price is the regular fee multiplied by 0.95. Optional upgrades and separately applicable charges are excluded. Classic and Pro have different assessment conditions; their fee difference does not describe platform quality.
Apply the code only after deciding a new account is useful
- Establish whether you need support for an existing account or want a new assessment.
- If purchasing, choose the model, size and profit-share option on the official pricing page.
- Enter COMPARE and confirm the 5% base-fee reduction.
- Review the full payable amount and selected rules before completing the order.
- Record the new account identifier and open its assigned terminal from the dashboard.
- Check the selected account and working orders before beginning any trading.
The Breakout Prop firm review compares plans. Evaluation capital is simulated, purchase fees can be lost, and no terminal choice guarantees qualification or rewards. A careful transition preserves a clear record of which account you are using; it does not transfer a trading result between accounts.
