The label is a trading tier. Its initial drawdown room is $4,500, not $150,000. The target equals twice that starting allowance, so evaluation planning must account for both figures.

How the 150K EOD floor moves

End-of-day trailing drawdown updates when the account records a new highest qualifying closing balance. It does not immediately move upward with an unrealized session peak.

The existing floor is still enforced while positions are open. A loss reaching that floor during the day can end the account; EOD does not authorize a temporary breach.

This original example follows two evaluation sessions:

Account eventEquity or closing balanceActive floor
Evaluation opens$150,000$145,500
Day 1 closes with $1,200 net profit$151,200$146,700 after EOD update
Day 2 reaches an open equity high$154,000$146,700 during the session
Day 2 closes at a lower level$152,000$147,500 after EOD update

The open peak of $154,000 does not set the evaluation floor. The $152,000 closing balance is the new EOD reference, placing the floor $4,500 lower at $147,500.

If the next closing balance falls to $151,000, the floor remains $147,500. Trailing does not reverse after a losing session.

When does the floor stop trailing?

The floor freezes when it reaches the original $150,000 starting balance. In this evaluation, an EOD high of $154,500 brings the floor to $150,000.

At a subsequent $159,000 balance, the distance above the frozen floor is $9,000. That outcome depends on the account following the expected sequence without an earlier breach. Read the official drawdown policy for the underlying calculation.

Why 15 contracts and $4,500 drawdown need separate checks

The position allowance limits order quantity. The drawdown floor limits allowable account loss. Increasing the number of standard contracts can accelerate both profit and loss without increasing the drawdown amount.

TradeDay's 150K card lists 15 standard contracts but retains the general 50-micro ceiling. The 100K and 150K evaluation tiers therefore share the same advertised micro ceiling.

Selected CME Group futures are permitted; product-specific counting and account-stage limits still matter. The official permitted-products list is the reference for an instrument, while our Micro Silver contract-count explanation covers the SIL exception.

A larger account label does not remove commissions, slippage or the need to measure the remaining distance to the active floor.

The $9,000 target and 30% consistency

The profit objective is net of simulated commissions. At exactly $9,000 total profit, a best day of $2,700 represents 30%.

An illustrative five-day record is:

Evaluation dayNet result
Day 1$1,500
Day 2$2,100
Day 3$1,800
Day 4$1,900
Day 5$1,700
Total$9,000

The largest day is $2,100, or 23.33% of the total. The example meets the numerical target, five-day count and consistency percentage, assuming every session also respects the trading rules.

A $3,300 best day requires a larger overall total: $3,300 ÷ 0.30 = $11,000. The standard target remains the starting objective, while the best-day result determines whether consistency requires more profit.

The five trading days do not need to be consecutive. They are counted by the futures session, and evaluation approval follows the complete record rather than a single profitable trade.

Evaluation duration and the first funded request

The earliest evaluation completion requires the five Quick Pay trading days, enough net profit and the consistency objective. There is no guaranteed completion date.

Next comes account approval and funded setup. Quick Pay permits a first payout request after one funded trading day when the payout conditions are satisfied, with a $250 minimum request.

Passing a 150K evaluation does not make the $9,000 evaluation profit immediately withdrawable. That result completes the simulated evaluation objective. The funded stage has its own profit record and payout conditions.

For stage-by-stage context, read our TradeDay first-payout guide.

Trading hours on the 150K EOD evaluation

TradeDay quotes its operating schedule in Central Time. The usual session opens at 5:00 p.m. CT and runs into the next day. For a product closing at 4:00 p.m. CT, positions must be closed by 3:50 p.m. CT.

The close deadline and the EOD accounting update are different events. A trader should exit before the permitted-time cutoff rather than wait for a drawdown update to close positions.

Evening and overnight trading are allowed while the market is open. Positions cannot remain through the market's daily or weekend closure. Earlier-closing products and holiday sessions need a product-specific exit time.

TradeDay also restricts its designated Tier 1 releases from two minutes before until two minutes after the announcement. This applies independently of whether the evaluation uses EOD or intraday drawdown.

Use the official permitted trading-times guideline, Tier 1 release policy and our session-planning guide when arranging the trading day.

What changes in Quick Pay Funded Sim?

The central change is the move from EOD evaluation drawdown to intraday Funded Sim drawdown. The advertised allowance remains $4,500, and the published Quick Pay ceiling is 15 standard contracts or 50 micros, subject to product rules.

During evaluation, the open high in the example above did not immediately move the floor. In the funded intraday stage, a new open equity high can move it immediately. Giving back open profit can therefore leave less remaining cushion.

Quick Pay Funded Sim lists no consistency requirement, payout milestone or buffer. Its profit split is still based on current profit in each account, with 50/50 below the $4,000 level and 80/20 for qualifying portions above it. The threshold does not scale up to match the 150K tier.

For an original mixed-split example, assume $5,500 current funded profit and a $2,000 request:

Portion of requestApplicable splitTrader share
$1,500 above the $4,000 current-profit level80/20$1,200
Remaining $500 below that level50/50$250
TotalMixed$1,450

The request reduces current profit to $3,500. The trader share is $1,450 before method fees, rather than 80% of the entire request. Previous withdrawals remain part of the gross-profit drawdown record.

The Quick Pay payout policy explains these mechanics. Our TradeDay live-review ledger covers the later move toward Funded Live.

Frequently Asked Questions

The current official monthly base price is $400. Applying the site's listed 55% AUDIT offer gives a calculated initial evaluation payment of $180, saving $220.

The advertised allowance is $4,500. A 150K evaluation starts with a $145,500 floor. On the EOD evaluation, the floor trails from new highest closing balances and freezes at the original $150,000 starting balance.

The standard net profit target is $9,000. Quick Pay also requires five trading days and 30% consistency; a large best day can increase the total profit needed.

The published account ceiling is 15 standard contracts or 50 micros. Product-specific counting rules and the active account's permissions still apply.

Quick Pay Funded Sim uses intraday drawdown even when the evaluation used EOD. The advertised drawdown allowance remains $4,500.

No. Evaluation profit completes the passing objective. Payout requests are based on the funded account's subsequent profit record and the applicable Quick Pay payout policy.
