Claim Offer See offer detailsQuick answer: Breakout Prop's terminal can turn an individual position into a shareable P&L card. Its walkthrough describes cards for open and closed positions, with choices about which figures appear. Read the trade state, metric and timestamp before treating a card as performance evidence.
Verified promo code COMPARE gives 5% off evaluation base fees. The current Breakout Prop offer supplies the standard-plan discount. Official sources checked 11 October 2026. This guide explains trade reporting and privacy, not a trading signal or a claim about actual trader returns.
Understand what the sharing feature presents
The official terminal walkthrough shows the Share control on open or closed positions. It describes entry/current prices, return figures, an option to hide size and a choice of return-on-equity instead of dollar P&L. The card can be saved as an image or copied as a link.
The terminal launch announcement also describes customizable cards from closed trades and sharing to Discord. These are product descriptions; they do not certify a particular image posted by someone else.
Check the actual preview before sharing. Labels and visible fields matter more than an attractive template. If a field is unclear, keep the original position record and establish its definition before adding a caption.
State whether the position is still open
An open-position result is a snapshot. Consider a hypothetical position showing a $240 gain at 12:00 UTC, then closing later with a $90 gain. Both observations can be accurate when their times and states are clear.
Publishing the first image with a caption saying the trader closed for $240 would misdescribe that sequence. A precise caption would identify it as an open-position snapshot at the recorded time. Once the position closes, use the completed record for a realized-result statement.
Keep these three fields together in a private journal:
- Whether the position was open or closed when the card was created
- The timestamp and timezone of that observation
- The position identifier linking the image to its underlying record
These are our reporting suggestions. They are not a claim that every card template automatically prints all three fields.
Give percentages a denominator
A percentage without its calculation base is difficult to compare. As a general mathematical illustration, a $100 change is 1% of $10,000 and 10% of $1,000. The dollar change is identical; the reference amount differs.
Do not infer Breakout Prop's exact return-on-equity formula from that illustration. The walkthrough names the display option but does not fully specify its calculation. If the denominator is absent from the card, verify it in the product or ask support before comparing it with another trader's account return.
Likewise, distinguish a position-level figure from a period-wide account figure. Two images displaying the same percentage can refer to different time windows, reference amounts or trade states. A comparison needs matching definitions.
Put a winning card beside the full period
A selected winning trade can coexist with a losing account period. This hypothetical three-trade ledger demonstrates why the surrounding record matters:
A card for trade A describes one winner. It does not establish that the period earned $200. These are invented arithmetic examples, not reported Breakout Prop results. The net label is an explicit assumption so fees are not silently omitted or subtracted twice.
For a useful period review, record the start and end dates, all completed trades, any remaining exposure and relevant account adjustments. Keep unsuccessful attempts in a purchase-cost record rather than dropping them because a later account produced a more attractive screenshot.
For actual fee reconciliation, the Breakout Prop trading-fee FAQ points to Cash Movements. Verify whether each result field is gross or net before combining it with separately listed charges.
Review privacy without changing the meaning
Hiding position size can reduce what a public image reveals, but inspect the entire preview for other details: account identifiers, names, timestamps, entry prices and any background panels included in a screenshot. Share only the information you intend that audience to see.
Keep an unmodified original privately. If you redact a public copy, describe it as redacted where the change could affect interpretation. Removing an account identifier is different from changing a loss into a gain or cropping away the label that identifies an open trade.
The reviewed documentation does not establish that a copied sharing link expires, requires authentication or can always be revoked. Confirm those properties before treating a link as private. If they are unclear, an intentionally prepared image may give more control over what is visible, although recipients can still copy it.
A P&L card does not complete the payout process
The funded-payout FAQ separately requires no open positions, an unbreached account and a qualifying request amount. A position card alone does not establish those conditions or prove a payment arrived.
Use the Breakout Prop payout guide for request mechanics and the funded-capital explanation for the meaning of account balances. Reporting an individual trade and documenting a received payment require different evidence.
Evaluation purchase examples with COMPARE
The official pricing page lists the following standard 80% trader-share fees. A social-media card should not determine the account purchase decision.
Optional upgrades and separately applicable charges are excluded. No promotion stacking is assumed.
- Choose the model, size and profit-share option.
- Enter COMPARE in the promo-code field.
- Confirm the 5% evaluation base-fee reduction.
- Review the complete total before payment.
- Save the purchase receipt.
The Breakout Prop firm review explains broader account choices. Compare Futures Prop may earn commission through qualifying links or coupon use. Evaluation balances are simulated and fees can be lost. A genuine winning-trade image cannot guarantee another trader's qualification, earnings or future payout.
